The sun was shining brightly on a hot Thursday afternoon. The sun was hanging high above all the students but still close enough to blind any victim that dares to look up. Barley any clouds floating in the crystal clear sky. All around the school yard pupils were running and baking in the summer sun. Whenever the wind was blowing, screams were heard from the girls who were trying to keep their flowing skirts from rising. A young couple was lying on the sparkling grass just staring at each other. The slightly taller boy with springy brown curls lay with his arms wrapped possessively around the mesmerising cobalt blue eyed boy The latter was resting his head on the toned chest of his lover enjoying the moment that seemed so perfect but was far from it. The couple was ignored completely by the rest of the world. The other kids were taking the chance to bask in heat in hope to get even a little bit of colour burned into their pale translucent skin. Small beads of sweat rolled lazily down the bear chest of the jock who were dashing around the outside area in an attempt to impress the ladies. To the far left a beautiful boy sat on his own in a corner looking so lonely and sad. His once shining cerulean blue eyes now a dull grey. His hair that used to stand so tall and proud now hung limply with no shape of style. His rosy red cheeks now sunken and pale. His face seemed almost lifeless. His features may have changed but his body was still the exact same. His chest still perfectly chiselled like a boxer. The stale taste of sweat lingered all around. the sweet smell of fresh grass engulfed him, surrounded him in his little bubble. He chewed nervously on his plump bottom lip until his sharp teeth pierced the skin and the bitter metallic taste of the crimson liquid invaded his mouth. The cutest grimace appeared on his face as he scrambled around looking for his drink in hope of ridding the horrid taste. Girls gazed longingly at the handsome boy wanting him but too afraid of ruining their reputation. Seemingly out of nowhere rain began to pour down soaking everyone and everything that laid in its path in seconds. Boys and girls raced around shouting and screaming like banshees all except one. The same golden haired boy that glowed magically even in the terrible weather. Instead of rushing inside like everyone else he strolled in carelessly apparently oblivious to the fact that he was dripping wet. Like this, he looked like a model for vogue or any other magazine company. His hair was plastered to his scalp, his clothes sticking to his body... He looked perfect but what good was that in this school where popularity was all that mattered. The longer he stayed in that hell hole the more chance he would have of being alone for nobody would risk losing their "friends" just to gain a true one... Or is there a chance that one, just one person would come and sweep the boy off his feet. Well he'll have to wait and see. Good things always happen to the ones who are willing to wait.
