5SOS Preferences

Update and 5SOS Concert Talk

Hello everyone (if anyone actually reads this)

Sorry that I haven't written anything in like 5 months. I haven't had any inspiration or ideas. So unfortunately this isn't a pref, today I will be talking about my experience seeing 5SOS perform. 

As most likely none of you know, I went to 5SOS's concert in Toronto on Tuesday (August 25th). I am writing this today because I have severe PCD. For those of you who don't know PCD stands for Post Concert Depression, and it's basically when you are sad because the concert is over. It also happens when you go on a trip that you have been waiting and anticipation for a long time (it's not called PCD though)

So for christmas 2014 I got two tickets to go see 5SOS perform in August. I had a countdown on my phone and I was so excited. I had been waiting for 8 months. When the day I finally came I was excited but it hadn't fully registered that I was going to see probably my favorite band (I say probably cause I really like other bands but I like 5SOS just a bit more). So my friend who was going to the concert with me got to my house and we hung out and got ready listening to 5SOS (of course). So we drove to the venue and there was a huge line to get in. So we started walking to the end of line (which was probably like a 20 walk and we couldn't even see the end) Luckily after 5 minutes or so I spotted a couple of my friends in line and they let us get in with them. I  don't think that the girls behind us liked that very much but whatever. So after maybe 10-15 minutes in line we got our tickets scanned and we got in. We split up from my friends in line and went to go find a merch booth. We quickly found one and bought a shirt each (they were $45 each like wtf) so we got our shirts, and some ice cream, and headed over to our seats. The way this area was set up was, the floor, then three sections of seats with about 13 rows in each section, and then a lawn (which was like the floor but at the back). Our seats were in the third section, looking onto the left side of the stage and we were about 5 rows from the front of our section. We had pretty decent seats. So right as we got there Hey Violet ( who if you don't know are the opening act) have just started playing This Is Why. We listened to them but I only really know This Is Why. They were good and played a cover of Taylor Swifts Blank Space.

After Hey Violet finished there was a little intermission thing while the sets changed and they just play some music. Then 5SOS came on. It was so amazing! I don't really remember the exact order they played songs but these are some (maybe all but I don't remember) of the songs they played. End Up Here, Everything I Didn't Say, Don't Stop, Out Of My Limit, Disconnected, Wrapped Around Your Finger, Long Way Home, Amnesia, She Looks So Perfect, Voodoo Doll, Beside You, She's Kinda Hot, Good Girls, Reject, Permanent Vacation, Kiss Me Kiss Me, Heartache On The Big Screen, What I Like About You and a cover of Green Days American Idiot. I was so happy that they played American Idiot because I love that song and I've seen videos of them playing it live and they sound so good. In Good Girls Michael said something (that I couldn't hear because everyone was screaming) and then Eh, and it was great.  They also pulled a girl up on stage and she got to play Luke's guitar. She looked so happy up there and I'm so happy she got that experience. 

For some reason Michael's voice was really high pitched, kinda like he just swallowed some helium, throughout the whole concert which was weird but I was still so happy I got to see him in real life. One thing that I found amazing was at times during some songs (ex, Long Way Home, Amnesia and a few others) the boys would stop singing and sometimes even stop playing and all that you could hear was the crowd of like 15 000 people singing back the lyrics. They would stop and talk to us like all performers in concerts do and that was really cool. They have beautiful accents. At one point Luke said that he loves Canada and that Canadians and Aussies get along great. :) The camera's also showed peoples posters (they had cameras that showed things on screens that were around the stage) some of the one that I saw were, "If you have a big dick pick me", "My band sucks too", "Ashton can I have you drumsticks",  "I hate this band", " I can play guitar" and many more but I can't remember at the moment. The girls beside me were also hilarious. They keep screaming "bang me" and "bang me Ashton". In Beside You they sang "I wanna be inside you" which doesn't really make sense but it was still funny. The only thing was that everyone was really screamy when they were talking and shit.

Sadly though, the concert had to come to an end. Someone threw a flag at them (I think, I saw a red thing thrown at Ash and then on there Insta's he has a Canadian flag) and they bowed, then it was over. It was one of the best nights of my life and I am so thankful I got to go. Also my mom's friends dad works as a doorman at the hotel that the boys were staying at and he said that they were really nice and considerate people, which is awesome. Writing this is giving me chest pains so I'm gonna stop. Now onto some 5SOS news (that really isn't news)

So yesterday I preordered their album Sounds Good Feels Good. I really love Fly Away. I thought it would be a slow song but I'm glad it's not. Also Jet Black Heart is able to be downloaded tonight which is super exciting. I can't wait until the album comes out. 57 days as of 11:00 pm on August 27th 2015. 

Lastly I have a few questions for whoever (if anyone) reads this. 

1. What kind of preferences would you want me to write? (I'll do anything other than smut, but it might take a while) 

2. Who is your favorite member of 5SOS? Mines Michael and you can't have him, lol jk, sorta... 

3. What is/are your favorite(s) 5SOS song(s)? (if it's more than one please only write your top 3-5) Mine are Don't Stop, Permanent Vacation, She's Kinda Hot, Mrs. All American and End Up Here. 

4. Have you seen/are you seeing 5SOS perform live? If so how was it? Or when are you seeing them? If not, hopefully you will eventually.

5. Do you think that 5SOS should make shirts that say 'lol ur not Michael Clifford/Ashton Irwin/Luke Hemmings/Calum Hood'? My friends I have shirts that say that (with our favorite member as the name on it) and I think they would sell really well. I wore it to the concert and got complimented on it. 

Alright that is all I have for now. I will get back into writing prefs when I have some ideas. I'm sorry if this gave you any feels or anything...whoops. The picture I have attached is my shirt that I made and wore at the concert. Well time to go back to having intense chest pains because of my PCD. Bye!!!!!
