Amnesia (Calum Hood)

A/N

This story is based on the song Amnesia by 5 Seconds of Summer. If you want to hear that song there will be a link. If the link doesn't work look it up on youtube.  I suggest you do it AFTER you read the image. ENJOY!

You, as well as all the fans, had noticed that Calum hadn't been himself lately. He barley ever tweeted or did anything on social media. The boys had often hinted that Calum was sad but never said why and most times tried to seem like he was super busy or didn't have his phone. You were worried but excited because tonight you were going to see 5 Seconds of Summer in concert and they were going to perform a few songs for the first time.

*That Night*

You were at the concert, in the front row, with your 2 best friends and sister. When the boys came out you noticed that Calum looked down but he quickly composed himself and performed. Your eyes followed him the entire night and you caught his glance a few times. Towards the end of the concert Ashton announced that the last 3 songs they would be playing were new and this arena was the first place to hear them. 

The crowd screamed and they started. The first song they played was called English Love Affair. The second was called 18. Both were amazing but neither could compare to last. Calum had introduced it, the first time he had talked that night. He said 'This song is titled Amnesia. I wrote it hope you enjoy.'  The song stared and 20 seconds in everything was quite. The song was beautiful. As the song went on Calum stared to tear up. So did the audience. By the end Calum was full on crying. When the song was over Calum rushed off stage and all that could be herd was the crowd crying. Luke, Michael and Ashton said goodnight and thank you then left aswell.

You and your friends were one of the last to leave. as you were looking for the car you noticed a boy with dark hair sitting just in the shadows of the building, crying. You looked at your friends and told them you would be back. You cautiously walked over to the figure that was obviously Calum Hood. He quickly noted your presence, wipe some tears and put his phone down.

"I guess you want an autograph or picture right?" He croaked out.

"No I wanted to see if you were okay. Is it alright if I sit  with you?" you asked. He nodded and you sat down agaist the wall with him. 

"Do you mind telling me whats wrong?"

Calum sighed. "It's the song. I wrote it for her after she left me. I was a while ago but it still hurts you know? I can't handle it I....." The rest was cut off but a mangled sob. You put your arm around Calum and calmed him.

"Calum it will be alright. Youll get over her. Shhh its okay" you cooed like a mother comforting her child after a nightmare. Even though you didn't know who she was, you knew she was Calum's girlfriend. The fans kinda knew he had one but they never went public.

Calum suggled into you and cryed harder. "No I can't she was my one true love, I needed her and she left me." Calum sobbed for a moment then he pushed you off and looked at you like he was going to hurt you. "You" he said angrily. Why would he be angry all you did was comfort him. "You are one of them, you pushed her away, you ruined this!" Calum shouted. He was about to lunge at you when Luke, Michael and Ashton came out and held him back.

"Calum calm down mate" Luke said. Ashton and Luke took Calum inside as he started to cry again.

Michael came up to you and asked "What happened?"

You told Michael everything and he filled in he peices. Calum's girlfriend left him because of the hate and overwhelmingness of the fans so thats why Calum flipped on you. Michael invited you inside but you told him your friends were waiting.

"Get them they can come to its to late to drive." He said. So you went and got your friends and the 4 of you walked back to meet Michael. He took you inside to the dressing room.  Everyone went there seperate ways talking to differnet boys. You stood in the middle of the room texting your mom telling her where you are and when youll be back, stuff like that until you felt someone hugging you from behind.

You turned around to see Calum. He was more composed and less teary now but still sad looking.

"I never caught your name love." He said.

"Y/N" you said.  

"Well Y/N I'm sorry for snapping at you, it was because.." He told you the whole story, slightly different from Michael's, and then you comforted him more as told the bad parts. You all ended up falling asleep in the dressing room with the boys. 

In the morning you were curled up with Calum. You and your friends ended up leaving pretty soon and you had exchanged numbers with Calum so he could call you when he need some comforting. You also got Michael's so he could call you if Calum is off, because according to him you were the only one who could get Calum to stop being so sad. Almost once every day Calum would call you and talk about everything he needed to. On the weekends they would have someone drive you out to the venue so you could get Calum pumped and cuddle with him after.

Over the months you became Calum's rock, his best friend, his source of happiness. He slowly forgot about his old girlfriend for now he had you. Eventually you too got together and were happier than ever. You too were in love and you knew you could never leave Calum, no matter what.

A/N

Sorry about the sucky ending. I know a few of these facts aren't real but its fiction so that's how it is. Remember to watch the video in the link or search up the song Amnesia.  I might do a part two of this image in the future so tell me if you want that.
