He watched her form sitting at her desk, she was teaching her last class of the day. He was too. She smiled and dismissed the class as did he, he was grading papers and heard coughing. He looked across the hall watching her form double into a coughing fit, he stood striding easily over to her. She had neatly held up blonde hair, sparkling blue eyes, a thin frame, and glasses that sat on the bridge of her small nose.

"Are you alright?" his smooth cool voice hit her ears and she smiled.

"I am, thank you for your concern though" she had this cough for about a week, but it's been getting worse.

"Would you like me to take you home?" she rested her hand on his firm arm.

"That would be lovely, Sebastian, I'm not bothering you am I?" he smiled.

"Of course not" they packed what little they had and headed towards Sebastian's vehicle. It was a beautiful black dodge viper, she was impressed but far to tired to talk. She sat in the car and closed her heavy eye lids, falling asleep quickly.

Her dreams carried her to the day she started teaching at London's School for the Gifted. She was a new teacher and with every new teacher came students that wanted nothing to do with the idea. She was replacing an old history teacher for the middle schoolers, Sebastian taught the high-schoolers. She sat alone at her desk for lunch, she was rather happy and she beamed when she heard Sebastian's voice.

"Hello Mister Michaelis" he chuckled, a sound that was almost too much for the senses.

"Call me Sebastian, Miss" she laughed, a lovely sound to his ears.

"Just call me, Ama" he pulled up a chair and sat with her. They talked until it was time for the classes to start again.

She woke to her body being lifted, she blushed seeing Sebastian's smiling face looking down at her.

"You don't have to carry me" she muttered.

"It's no problem at all, Ama" she looked towards the building he was carrying her to, it wasn't her place.

"Is this your home?" she asked and he nodded opening the door with ease and laying her in his bad that sat rather close to the door but in another room.

"Y-you could have just put me on the couch" she mumbled and he covered her.

"Rest" he demanded with a smiling face, he was driving her crazy.

As Sebastian fixed some tea, she looked around the room. It was rather plain but comforting in a way, she felt another coughing fit coming on. She coughed and coughed into her hand,

"B-blood" she choked out seeing the red liquid on her hand.

"Oh my" Sebastian already had a rag wiping away the blood.

"Seems to me like pneumonia" he pressed his cool hand to her forehead.

"Fever, looks like we're going to be here for a while" she gave him a weak smile.

"Wont you get sick?" his mixed orbs smiled down into hers.

"There's no need for worry" her body ached and her eyes were so heavy.

"Sebastian?" she called out to him with her eyes closed.

"Hm?" he was sitting right next to her on the edge of his bed.

"Thank you, you don't have to do this" tears slipped from the corners of her eyes.

She was in pain and he could tell and with a gentle hand he wiped away the stray beads of liquid streaming down her rosy fever ridden cheeks. Her eyes were dull when she opened them,

"Sleep kitten, I will be right here by your side."

She closed her eyes and rested her hand in his. His now fushia eyes starred at her, her soul was one so pure and loving. He snapped his eyes closed and took a deep calming breath. He watched her sleep and realized her hair was still up, he softly removed the bow holding it up rested her head back down softly. Her hair was long, silky, and smelled of strawberries. A piece fell onto her face and he gently pushed it back listening to her labored breathing. She was very sick, he had noticed a simple cough but nothing so severe so quickly. He leaned and met her lips, she didn't move much and he was worried. He stayed, right there, all night long.

Morning came and much to his relief she was awake when he came into the room again. He was holding some soup and tea on a platter. He placed it on the bedside table briefly and rested his hand to her head.

"Your fever seems to have gone down some" he smiled and held the bowl.

"I can feed myself" she protested but he was having none of it.

"Nonsense, allow me" how could she resist him, he was perfect.

He fed her slowly and helped her sip on the tea he brought,

"How long will I be out?" his eyes were amused as she looked into them.

"A few weeks or more" she sighed and sunk back into the bed.

"As long as you're the one taking care of me" her eyes lit up some "I will be fine staying here."

She smiled a wonderful smile "you flatter me, Kitten" he lifted her hand and kissed it gently.

"I'll always be right here" she smiled and held onto his hand again.
