Robin

"NO! I AM NOT STAYING BEHIND!" Regina protested, we all looked at her and sighed, man this woman was stubborn. "Darling, I don't want to risk you going out into danger with our baby, that's all." She glared at me and fixed her white dress over her small bump.

It had been a month since we had turned Emma back and we finally found a lead on Merlin, but he was all the way in Camelot, I hated leaving Regina, especially as she made the transition into her second trimester. But I would not risk the safety of our child. "I will stay with her." Snow said handing Charming an extra sword, Regina pouted in the corner and rolled her eyes at me, furious that she wasn't being put in the front lines of battle. Everyone cleared out to go and prepare for the journey and she just glared at me, stomping out of the room.

I chased her down the hallway and into our chambers where I found her silently weeping. I walked over to her and pulled her into my arms. Kissing the top of her head. "Babe what's bothering you? I'm only going to be gone for a little while." I said cupping her face, she sighed and looked up at me, her brown eyes making my heart break. "I just hate saying goodbye to you because I keep thinking about that awful time when we were apart, when I genuinely thought I would never see you ever again. I don't want to lose you." She cried, her hormones obviously making her more upset than usual.

"I'm not going to leave you forever, we just need to find Merlin and bring him back to save Emma, then we will be together again, plus you will have Mary Margaret to keep you company. You two can talk about feminine baby things to your heart's content!" I said wrapping my arms around her waist, she laid her head on my chest, not speaking, just listening to the three of our hearts beating against one another.

Regina

I stood on the steps of the palace with Snow and watched Henry, Robin, David, Killian, and Roland leave the castle and venture into the dangerous forest, I worried for my son but I knew Robin would look after him, because if he came back with a single scratch it would be bad news for all of us.

I walked inside and started combing my long hair, I now remember why I cut it in Storybrooke, it was such a hassle, but I honestly missed my long locks.

"How are you doing?" Snow asked bouncing into my room, I turned and looked at her, she was obviously just as stressed as I was. "I'm fine. My back hurts a little bit but I'm okay. Why, are you okay?" I asked standing up, she walked over to me and shoved her elbow into my lower back making me gasp with relief, the knots breaking on my spine. "How?" I started to ask but she just smirked at me and leaned back. "I've been pregnant twice, both of my babies were unnaturally huge, I know where it hurts." She said crossing her arms, I just smirked and rolled my eyes, sitting over by the window, watching the boys venture farther and farther into the forest.

"So! Baby names!" Snow said flopping down next to me, I looked at her and pulled my legs beneath me, she had a goofy smile on her face and was itching to touch my stomach. "Uh, yeah, I have a couple for her, I've been thinking about it while we were here." I said patting my stomach, she smiled and scooted closer, squealing at me. "You found out?!" I shook my head and leaned back, pressing my hands against her. "No, but I can just feel it, she's meant to be our little girl." I said smiling, she nodded and started tapping her knee anxiously. I felt my little one move and I jumped back, shocked at the feeling. "She moved!" I exclaimed, Snow smiled and moved closer. "It's always so exciting when that happens, I love seeing mommies experience it for the first time." She said excitedly, I rolled my eyes and took her hand, placing it on the spot where I felt my baby nudge me. "Oh my god Regina that's amazing!" She squealed, moving her hand around my stomach to try and get a better spot. "Thank you, but why are you so amazed, you already had two kids, you should be use to it by now." I said standing up, slipping my flat shoes on to go and check on Emma.

"You never get use to it Regina, you have a human growing inside of you, that's pretty amazing!" She said following me.

We made our way down the castle halls and we found Emma still curled up in her room, her forehead was sticky with sweat and she was freezing, it was only a matter of time until she would turn completely dark and we'd have a big problem on our hands.

I watched Snow quietly move across the room and take her daughter into her arms, trying to exert some of her warmth onto her. "Mmmom?" Emma stuttered, she looked down at her daughter and smiled, brushing her face with her hand, Emma's green eyes were gone, now replaced with golden ones, if she were not so lethargic, it would have been terrifying.

"I'm so... Cold..." She whimpered, curling into her mother, she just rocked her back and forth, trying to get her blood moving. I walked over and tossed a warm blanket over her, after seeing her as a little girl I had this instinct that I needed to protect her. "Let's take a look." I said sitting down, Emma shifted in her mother's arms and waited for me to do it. I reached into her chest and pulled out her heart, half of it was already dark, that side made it cold and still, only the red part remained warm, red, and beating. I held it in my lap and took another measurement. "I'm going to die, aren't I?" She asked, staring at her battered heart. I saw Snow hold her daughter a little tighter then look at me, the question in her eyes too.

"I don't know. Let's just hope the men are succeeding with getting Merlin." I said placing her heart in between my palms, attempting to thaw it with little luck.

"WE'RE BACK!" Robin yelled running into the castle, the three of us turned in anticipation of Merlin, but we only saw the original five that left. "Babe, where is he?!" I said standing up, they all looked at one another and then back at me.

"We didn't talk to Merlin but we did talk to Lancelot, he said the only way that Merlin would come to us would be if he met us all first, and he plans to meet us all at his ball that he is hosting tonight."
