Snow White

"DEAR GOD ROBIN SLOW DOWN!" I yelled from the backseat, I couldn't even gauge how much he was breaking the speed limit but I knew that if he went any faster we would be able to achieve time travel. I felt the car slow, along with Regina's heart rate, which I could probably feel beating out of her chest.

"Ahh! Robin how far are we!" Regina yelled, they both looked stressed and I now realized that I should not have let him drive. "Almost there babe hold on." He said painfully, he hated seeing Regina in pain, I could tell simply by the way he looked into the rearview mirror.

"OH MY GOD HURRY ROBIN!" She yelled, rolling her head back the muscles straining under her hands, I saw the baby move and her whole body tense, a loud grunt coming out of her mouth. "Hey, almost there, look at me." I said unbuckling myself and turning so I was in front of her, she opened her eyes and looked at me, biting her lip. I started taking dramatic breaths and she copied, Cora scooted closer and carefully rubbed her arm, attempting to help her daughter through the monster of the contraction.

I slammed against the window when Robin screeched into the hospital parking lot, halting the car up front. I groaned and rubbed my head, flinging the door open, the three of us nearly yanked Regina out of the car, she whimpered and held onto Robin, allowing him to embrace her tightly. She buckled over and grabbed our hands, using them to push off of. "GAHH! IT HURTS!" She screamed, bystanders looked on in concern and I nodded to Cora who ran in to alert a nurse. Suddenly she returned with a doctor who had a wheelchair, Regina slowly lowered into it and they whisked her inside, the three of us following closely behind.

They were setting her up in the room and she was handling it surprisingly well, until they took the monitors and IV's out. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" She yelled, whipping her hand away from the young nurse who looked terrified, I just gave her an assuring look and she relaxed, then quickly rushed out of the room.

"They are just trying to help." I said sitting in the chair next to Robin, who was faithfully rubbing her hand. She glared at me looked like she was going to rip my throat out, her hair was piled in a messy ponytail on the top of her head, all of her makeup was removed which showed the bags under her eyes and the freckles that she hid religiously, and the harshness of her expression rolled right off of me, she was vulnerable and scared and she was afraid to look it. Suddenly Robin's phone went off, it was Emma telling him that they were there at the hospital and that they were lost and Roland wanted to see him. "Go ahead, just be quick, I got her." I whispered, slipping my hand into hers as he got up and left. Cora had gone to fetch Regina some ice so the room was quiet except for the sounds of the monitor beeping and Regina's occasional noises.

She leaned back and closed her eyes, each contraction coming stronger and faster. "Hey, what's going on, are you okay?" I asked bringing my knees under me, she shot me a look and scrunched her eyebrows. "I'M IN LABOR!" She yelled, I just rolled my eyes and scooted the chair closer. "I am well aware, believe me, but that's not it, what's wrong?" I asked, I saw her lip quiver and she gave me a look that told me she wanted to cry, I got up and stood next to her, taking her wired hand.  "It's just me." I said quietly, suddenly tears started to fall down her face and she shook her head. "I'm so scared. I don't have anything ready, I missed nearly half of my pregnancy, I barely had any time to learn about anything! And I'm scared that I did something wrong like before and my baby is going to die!" She cried, the contraction making her sob harder, I felt my heart open up for her and I sat down beside her, wanting to know more about what she just said.

"Regina, calm down. In and out, hee hoo, good." I said, she started taking slow breaths and held my hands tightly. "Grrr! Ahh!" She wailed, locking her eyes on my face, I smiled at her and tried to remain positive until I felt her body relax. "You have everything under control, when we got back I made sure that it was done, Robin knew, the nursery was our gift to you, I was going to show you after the shower but then this happened, I know what the gender of your baby is so I stocked everything with what you need, and for your baby, Regina you did everything correctly, what did you mean again?" I asked, I saw her face contort in pain and she grabbed my hand again. "Ah! GAHH! HEE HOO! A couple of years after I married your father, he got me pregnant, well my mother visited me about a month later and AH! I accidentally drank the wrong potion, it had horrible side effects which made me lose my baby, and it made me infertile. I just AHH!! Can't lose my baby again! I can't Snow I can't let my baby die please help me! AHH!" She sobbed, I sat down beside her and hugged my friend, she gripped my arms and held on as she finished her contraction. "That is not going to happen now Regina, I promise that I will not let your baby die, you will have it in your arms soon, and it will be perfectly healthy, okay? Now you just have to focus on breathing and relaxing for him or her, okay?" I said pulling away, she nodded and kicked the covers away, grabbing onto my arms to help pull herself up.
