Chapter 6: Why you gotta be so rude?

Why must I be mated to an ass hat! All I wanted was an amazing mate that would take care of me. But evidently that was just too much to ask huh Moon Goddess!

I'm sitting in my room trying to figure out the WIFI password when there is a knock on my door. I slowly get up and walk to short distance to my door and pull it open.

"Hello Luna, Alpha Stone told me to bring you this. I will also be doing your hair and makeup for the ball tonight." She politely smiles at me as she walks into the room and straight into what I now know is a bathroom.

"Thanks." I say slowly as I look at the dress. It is a sleeveless sweetheart neck line dress. The top part is blue with some patterns on it, right under the boobs it cuts off into the skirt part of it that is black and tootoo like that reaches the floor. It's a pretty dress.

"Take a shower real quick then we can get started on your look for the evening." She smiles.

"But it's like one in the afternoon." I say confused.

"No offense Luna but you need a lot of work." She says looking me up and down. I don't like her anymore.

"Okay, then." I say as nicely as I can without cussing her out for being so rude.

"I'll be back in an hour. Be in a tank top and shorts, we'll be putting on the dress last." She says walking out of the room.

'Gunner?' I ask quietly through our mind link.

'Yes?' He replies with a little irratation in his voice. But when is he not irratated?

'What is this ball for?' I ask wondering what kind of weres' will be there.

'It is an Alphas dinner, only the most powerful Alphas will be there. Consider yourself lucky enough to attend because I could just leave you here.' He replies quickly then blocking out our mind link.

"Okay then." I sigh as I grab my shampoo and stuff from one of my bags and some clothes and head into the bathroom.

The hot water coming out of the shower feels amazing on my tense muscles. I had not realized how tense I was until I stepped under the steaming water. As I reflect on my day so far I realize that I kinda skipped school and was basically kidnapped by my ass of a mate. I left Keely at school all alone and I'm going to an Alphas ball tonight. Those are good reasons to be tense!

After shaving half my body and washing my hair and stuff I quickly get out of the shower and put on my clothes just as there is a knock on my door.

"Come in." I reply as I walk back into my room to put on deodorant.

"Hey." Gunner says as I whip around and look at him.

"Hey." I reply trying to act natural.

"So um, after the dinner I was thinking maybe we could complete the mating process." He says awkwardly.

"Only if you can get me in the mood." I wink at him.

"Really?" He replies shocked.

"No!" I reply glaring at him.

"Why not?" He says getting irritated.

"Because I said no and no means no!"

"But we're mates." He says with a sad tone to his voice.

"Oh well in that case," I pause and smirk at him." No!"

"Why? You'll be just as powerful as I am then and an official Luna." He says like it's such an honor.

"I want it to be special, and I don't care about being powerful. Also you are known as a feared Alpha and for killing other packs. I'm not sure I want to be the Luna of such a pack." I reply starring hims trait in the eyes so he knows I'm not lying.

"If you feel that way you can just reject me then." He yells as his eyes turn black. Crap! His wolf is taking over!

"How about we make a deal." I smirk.

"What kind of deal." He says as he tries o contain his wolf.

"I'll give you one month to make me fall in love with you." I continue to smirk as he fake gags.

"That's so cliché. Where did you see that on whatpad?"

"It's Wattpad and yeah I did." I say with my hand on my hips.

"No." He replies. "You'll fall in love with me whether you want to or not, it's called destiny." He says as he turns around and leaves the room. I sigh just as the girl from earlier enter the room.

"Ready?" She smiles at me.

"Whatever." I reply as we both walk into the bathroom.

'His wolf wants you.' I hear my wolf whisper.

'Really?' I ask surprised.

'Yeah, it is the human who is being difficult.' she replies quickly.

'He doesn't like me does he.' I sigh internally.

'No, in fact he really likes you, he just doesn't know how to show you he cares. His wolf keeps telling me things and decoding his actions. He loves you already.' She says happily.

'I'll believe it when he says it.' I say rolling my eyes.

'He will eventually. Just give him time.' She says as she ends our conversation.

"Hello? Luna you there?" The girl says waving her hands in my face.

"Yeah." I say almost growling at her because of my frustration towards the world at the moment.

"Well it's time to put on the dress." She smiles and I just nod. "Put it on and I'll come back in and zip you up once you have it on." She says walking out of the bathroom.

"Okay, I'll be here." I say as I close the door behind her and strip off my clothes.

I put on the dress and call the girl back in and she zips it up for me.

"I think it's a bit tight in the boob area." I say starring at my boobs that look like they are about to burst out of the top of the dress.

"Don't worry the Alpha will love it." She squeels leaving the room.

I look in the mirror and see my makeup all done nice and my hair all curled. I look cute and all but a bit girly for my taste.

I put on a pair of heels I see sitting on my bed. I then head down stair and I am greeted by Gunner who is looking mighty fine in his suit if I do say so myself. It's the tux effect! Just like from icarly when a girl dated Spencer and it was only because of the tuxedo effect! It's a real thing people!

"Hey." I smile at him.

"Hey." He grunts as he walks out the front door. I am surprised when I step outside and see a limo.

We both get in and an awkward silence quickly sets in.

"That dress is a bit revealing." He suddenly says as he tries to not stare at my chest.

"You don't say Einstien." I say sarcastically.

"It looks good though, especially with my mark on your neck." He smirks.

"Yeah, that you forced on me!" I say glaring.

"Don't do that." He says starring at me.

"Why not." I say trying to glare harder at him.

"Because I say so." He says using his Alpha tone on me.

"You're an ass, you know that right." I sigh.

"I know, but I'm your ass." He says saying the last part barely loud enough to hear.
