Chapter 1: New school new me

I stare in the mirror at myself and see the huge bags under my eyes and then look in to my eyes and see they are just a dull hazel, they use to sparkle and be so full of love and my need for adventure. But now after that man I have to call my father killed my mom, might I add his mate. My eyes and everything about me has been lacking my usual bubbly personality. 

I want nothing more than to get my mom back, she was one of the only people I could count on along with my best friend Keely, oh god I am so happy I've had Keely threw all of this. Without her I probably wouldnt be here right now, she got my text the night my dad went crazy and rescued me before my dad could kill me. 

After our Alfa found out what my dad did he sentanced my dad to life in werewolf prison, he died after five days in prison from killing his mate and constant beating from fellow inmates outraged he would do such a thing. My Alfa told me he thought it would be best if I was relocated to a new pack so he moved us to a close friend of his' pack. Alfa Clark, my new alfa is very nice but I try to keep my distance but I know he secretly has been keeping an eye on me I mean who wouldnt keep an eye on the daughter of a werewolf that killed his own mate? I know I would.

Luckily for me Keely got to relocate with me after begging our old alfa and her parents everyone agreed saying I really needed a friend to stick by me.

As of one month ago today my dad killed my mom and I am being forced by alfa Clark to go to school, he says that if I want to graduate in two years have to return to school.

I have decided that if I am going to a new school I am going to be a new and improved me. Not very many people know I am the daughter of the mate killer so hopfully nobody at the school will know so me and Keely can have  peacful next two years, find our mates and live happily ever after. But we all know that's not what is going to happen.

I wash my face then put on my makeup using extra concealer to conceal my massive bags under my eyes, then quickly put on a black skater skirt and a floral print crop top with ankle boots to finish my look off. I look in the mirror and laugh to myself, I look like such a white girl all I need is some Starbucks. Mmm Starbucks I should get some on my way to school.

"Let's get going slow poke!" Keely says walking in to my room. "You look good Ash." She smiles at me.

"Thanks Keels you don't look so bad your self." I half smile at her as I look at her wearing shreaded jeans and a white shirt that has the American flag on it. (It looks way cuter than it sounds!)  "When you turn 16 your mate is so going to love you, I mean look at you." I smile at her.

"Hey missy your birthday is in a week." She smirks at me.

"Don't we have to go? Better get going!" I say changing the subject as I grab my backpack and head out of the pack house with Keely not far behind me.

"We are so continueing this conversation later." She smirks at me.

"Yeah, yeah." I sigh as I get a mind link from alfa Clark.

'Aisling just a warning to you and Keely be careful at school we share an all werewolf school with another pack and their alfa goes to the school, so be careful and try not to cause any trouble with him. His name is Gunner so don't disrespect a guy named Gunner, he is pretty well known around here and not for a good reason. I will want a full report after you get home tonight so come to my study when you have time.' 

'Yes alfa Clark.' I quickly reply as I relay the message to Keely.

All too soon me and Keely are standing in front of a massive high school.

"This place is huge." I gawk as I start heading toward the office to get my schedule. Keely has been going here for two weeks now so she knows her way around at his point so I'm going to have her give me a tour of how to get to all my classes.

"Hello I'm here to get my  scedule." I say to a middle age looking lady.

"Are you Aisling?" She asks as she prints out a paper that is probably my scedule.

"Yeah." I say as she hands me the paper and I see my scedule:

Engish

Social studies

Art

Free period

Lunch

Science

Physical education

"Any classes?" I ask shoving my schedule in Keelys face.

"Yeah art, free period, lunch and P.E." She smiles at me.

"Yay!" I smile at her.

"I'll take you to first period sense it starts soon but during free period I'll show you around." She smiles as we start walking down an full hallway.

I'm just about to say screw it I'll just be late because these people walk so slow when suddenly people clear a pathway way as I see two majorly hot guys walk down the hallway followed by a bunch of blonde bimbos. I laugh to myself earning the attention of the two guys.

"Were you laughing at us!" The brunett says.

"Uh yeah." I smirk at him.

"Why I atta."

"Gunner cool it." The blonde guy says looking at the brunett.

"She just disrespected me." He fumes.

"Dude all she did was laugh and 'uh yeah' she didn't disrespect you." He chuckles.

"Well yeah whatever, but you come with me." Gunner says pointing a finger at me.

"Wait Gunner," I pause think until it hits me. "You're the alfa of the other pack." I say in realization.

"No shit sherlock." Gunner smirks at me.

"Oh well then let's go." I say as I follow him until he pulls me in to a janitors closet. "Seriously a janitors closet how classy." I muse at him.

"Disrespect me again infront of others and I will have you banished ." He warns as I roll my eyes.

"Your bluffing." I smirk.

"Really? Do you think I would bluff about banishing someone." He says with a irratated look.

"Yes and you can't banish someone who is not in your pack." I smirk at him as he glares.

"I will contact your alfa and have him banish you." He smirks as I roll my eyes.

"Like that will happen." I laugh as I try to leave.

"Your fiesty I like that." He smirks at me as I open the door.

"And you think your a big bad alfa, I don't like that." I smirk at him as I walk away.

"Who are you even?" He yells down the empty hallway at me as I walk away.

"Aisling." I shout back as I continue walking.
