A/n: hey, I'm sorry for leaving you guys in the quiet for too long. Lack of motivation and writer's block had all been jerks to me. Anyways, enjoy this new, yet short chapter
Warning: mention of bad dreams
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You could barely sleep.
On some nights, you were able to, but not without some bad dreams. A few of them so bad that you would have to risk facing insomnia rather than getting a good night's shuteye.
You thought that if you hid them well enough, no one would even notice.
Of course, someone did.
Migo had decided to come over to your apartment and stay for the night at one point, since it was easier to stay there for the night rather than spend the whole evening and first part of the morning trying to get back home. Soon, it won't be difficult for him and most of the Yeti villagers who like to visit the human village to travel from above the mountains all the way down. Your bad dream came at a bad time, with your eyes shooting open and a gasp escaping your lungs. Migo has his arm wrapped over your middle waist, his face so peaceful in his slumber that you didn't dare disturb him as you carefully free yourself from his hold and tiptoed to your living room with your laptop safely in your arms.
Once you were sure that the volume was on low and that you had what you needed—a blanket and a comfort stuffed toy in your hands—you started the movie of your choice, a comfort film that is a parody of many scary movies and thrillers. Some say that your choice in films is stupid, but to you, it's one of the many things that give you comfort when things in the real world and the pressure of real life become too much for you to handle, even if the logic in the movie doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Soft padding on the hardwood floor didn't reach your ears until after a familiar voice caught your attention.
"(Y/N)?"
You almost jumped off the couch, a small yelp leaving your lips. You spun around in an instant to see Migo...wearing only his pants and no shirt on him...again. You could have sworn your face instantly burned and reddened from seeing his abs and muscles in the dimly lit room.
"What are you doing up? Aren't you supposed to be sleeping?" His voice was hoarse from sleep, yet soft.
You managed to compose yourself from staring at him for too long, praying that he didn't notice you drooling. "Just, um...just can't sleep. Bad dreams," you answered, trying and failing to avert your eyes from his body over and over.
"And you're watching a movie because...?" Migo gestured to your screen with a crooked grin.
A short moment of silence between you two.
"...it helps?" You answered shyly. "...wanna join me?"
Migo stared at you wrapped in a blanket first, then at the computer.
"...yeah, sure."
You got up and let Migo sit down before you rested yourself between his crossed legs. His arms held you close to his bare chest as you pulled your laptop close enough for him to see better.
"Want to play from the beginning?" You asked him next.
"Whatever you want to do is fine," he answered.
Knowing that he's never seen one of those movies before, you took the chance to replay them. "I do need to warn you...this movie is...raunchy and pretty offensive...so, not exactly pretty."
