While Meechee was discussing the discovery with her father, you and Migo continued to walk around the village. He didn't mind that he was showing you his world, you were already amazed at all of this.

You remembered the stones of the village and tapped his shoulder to get his attention. "So, those stones? Are they, like, laws or something?" You inquired.

"Well, yeah, they are. They're the rules that are written down in them. Literally. Like the one that says a Smallfoot doesn't exist..." Migo replied.

"What? Really?" You said, astonished. You did not know that there is a stone that says your kind doesn't exist in Migo's home.

"Well, yeah," he replied, scratching the back of his head. You nodded in understanding, yet you couldn't shake away the perplexing feeling about that specific stone.

A group of younger Yetis ran around the two of you and laughed as they played.

You giggled at the little kids. "Aw, they're so adorable." Migo beamed at you in adoration.

The kids heard you say that and stared up at you in wonder.

"Kids, this is (Y/N)," he gestured you to the Yeti toddlers.

"Hi, (Y/N)!" They said all at once.

"Aw. Hey there," you greeted back.

One of the kids then grabbed you and hugged you by the leg. Another kid jumped up and gripped onto your arm tenderly. In an instant, you were suddenly surrounded by a horde of Yeti toddlers. You laughed as one of them managed to climb up to your shoulders and hug you. You realized that they didn't want you to feel unloved. You were astounded and glad that the villagers were already welcoming you with open arms.

"Hey, hey. Kids, come on, give her some space, okay?" Migo chuckled and took one of the toddlers off your shoulders.

The kids stepped back, yet they still chattered excitedly. A Yeti toddler bent down and pulled off your boot, revealing your bare foot again. The kids gasped, amazed, and studied your foot. You decided to stand still for a moment for them to look at it. You now didn't mind that you were being called a Smallfoot even by the kids.

Migo beamed at you without you noticing him. But when you glanced up at him and smiled back, he quickly turned away, his face almost rosy red.

The child he was holding noticed his look and tapped him on the shoulder. She made hand gestures at him when he looked at her.

"I'm fine, Sooz," he answered. "It's just, um..." He glanced up at the crossbow where his house was and remembered.

"Hey, (Y/N). I'm gonna check up on my dad real quick," he told you as he set down Soozie. "You're gonna be okay with the kids?"

"Don't worry about me, Migo," you nodded as one of the kids picked up your bag. "Just go. I won't mind."

Migo beamed at you gratefully before he dashed off to his home.

After he was gone, you took the time to teach the Yeti toddlers about your stuff from your world. The kids grew interested in your things, so you used them as an example before letting them do the same. That's when Gwangi, Kolka, and a few other Yetis came up to you with a roll of toilet paper in his hand.

"Can you translate the Scroll of Invisible Wisdom?" Kolka asked you.

You stifled a laugh by covering your mouth. "We don't write on that."

Kolka's face changed to a confused frown. "Then what do you use it for?"

Your cheeks flushed with embarrassment, you motioned for her to come closer. When she did, you whispered into her ear the reason why they are really used for.

"Oh. Are you serious?" She asked again, more flustered. You nodded as she stared at you wide-eyed.

"What? What is it?" Gwangi asked you both desperately.

Kolka leaned up to Gwangi's ear and whispered the same reason you had told her. His face instantly became a mixture of shock and disgust all at once and glanced between her and the toilet roll.

Meechee's appearance broke the awkward silence. "Hey, where's Migo?" She looked around to find Migo not here with you anymore.

"He went to talk with his father," you answered.

"Right. Wanna head up to my room?" She asked you.

"Sure," you nodded.

You picked up your backpack that was left where it was, the toddlers no longer looking through it, and followed Meechee. As you both walked to the palace, the place where the Stonekeeper lives, you became scared and nervous. You didn't feel safe around him. There was something strange about him.

Meechee sensed your uneasiness and glanced between you and the palace before she connected the dots. "Don't worry, my father never comes into my room," she reassured you. "You're safe as long as you're near me."

"Thanks, Meechee," you nodde,d relieved.

"Anyway, I can't help but notice Migo looking at you more often than last time," she remarked.

"And?"

"I think you enchanted him," she smiled at you.

You blushed and gazed down at the ground. The very image of the blue-and-purple-eyed Yeti sparked in your mind, causing your cheeks to turn even redder.

Meechee chuckled. "C'mon, you like him."

"Um, nothing to tell," you stammered.

"And why's that?"

"Well, it's just that..." you sighed deeply. "I know I just met him, and it's only been close to a day, but he's a great guy, and sweet, and incredible..."

You stopped suddenly and blushed even harder than before. Why did you say something like that?

"So you do like him," Meechee silently said to you, smiling.

You shook your head hastily as you tried to cover your blushing face. But the look in your eyes was evident enough for her to see.

"Don't worry, I won't judge," Meechee giggled. "And I'll let you find the best time to tell him."

You sighed in relief and nodded at her remark. As you both entered the palace and headed up to her room, you couldn't stop thinking about Migo and your growing feelings for him.

Are you really falling for him?
