(Lauren's P.O.V)
I lay on my back, looking up at the fan twirling above our bed. It was almost nine now. Spencer was still asleep. He'd gotten back from a case last night, late. He needed sleep. I sat up, my head spinning, my stomach aching. I felt like hell.
I stood from the bed, walking out into the kitchen to find something to eat. Nothing really peaked my interest. I was picky. I grabbed my car keys and slipped on some flip flops. I had the urge for some fast food. As I slowly began to open the door, Spencer came behind me.
"What are you doing?" He asked me, grabbing my hips, turning me towards him. He looked at my small bump. It was growing each and every day.
"I am hungry." I said, turning back around again. He grabbed the keys from my hand and held them above his head.
"I am driving. My leg feels better." He demanded.
"Spencer," I said. "Let me drive, I am fine." I tried to grab the keys from above his head. "Your leg has a few more months to heal, now give me the damn keys, Spencer."
"No." He smiled playfully. I was really hungry. I was not kidding. I tried to jump and grab them but he held them higher. He lowered them a little before raising them higher again. I hated when he toyed with me like that. It was unfair, no fun.
"Dammit, Spencer. I am hungry. Give me the damn keys!" I shouted. His smile dropped as he lowered them into my hands. I still looked angry. He pouted, his face getting sadder each second. I felt bad. I walked into him, my hands tightly over his shoulders. He put his arms around my waist.
"I am riding with you." He whispered in my ear.
"Why are you so concerned?" I whispered back.
"Because, after that car crash... It just scares me. And now you are carrying our baby. What would I do if you got hurt?"
"Live."
"I couldn't."
"You would." I pulled away. I grabbed his hand and pulled him behind me as we walked to the car. He was limping, but he was almost positive he didn't need his crutches anymore. I kind of disagreed. He sat himself in the seat, waiting on me. I opened the door, sitting down myself.
I turned the key and began to pull out. We sat in bitter a miserable silence for nearly five minutes. He lifted his head and turned to me. He stared at me for a long second before staring down at my stomach.
"Do you want a boy or a girl?" He said, obliterating the quiet moment. I thought for a minute. I looked at him, sort of chuckling.
"I don't care." I said, looking straight again. He furrowed his brow.
"You don't?" He asked me, seeming like he wanted a different answer.
"No, not really." I said, almost aggravated. "Why does it matter to you?"
"It... I don't know, Laur, I am just excited." He smiled at me, placing his hand on my stomach. I took one hand off of the steering wheel and placed it on top of his. I smiled at him.
"I love you..." He whispered, loud enough for me to hear.
"I love you too, Dr. Reid." I chuckled.

I apologize for how short that was, I sort of ran out of ideas! What did you think, though?
