Chapter 9 - Confused

Hara pov

" if you don't go, I'll kiss you." He threathen me. Please do. Wait. what?

" like you're dare to-" he peck my lips.

" i don't dare to do it? Well, i just did. Go to the living room now." I nod and run to the living room and hold my lips. Why the hell did he kissed me?!! Does he perhaps, have feelings for me? Wait. No he won't. I'm just a poor girl. Why would he even like me for right? I have nothing to give him.

After 30 minutes of waiting, he finally was done and called me to the dining room.

When i reach there, everything was ready. I smile and sit on the chair across him.

" let's eat." He said then eat.

I taste the food.

" wow.. this is really good. You're really a good cook."

" well thank you. Its my hobby." He said. Aren't we supposed to feel awkward after what has happened earlier. Why does he act like nothing has happen?

" if you're thinking about earlier, please stop. It was just to make you left. That's it." He said. Well, that brokes my heart. I nod and continue eating.

After i finish eating, i want to wash the dishes but then he stop me.

" I'll do it. You can go get some rest or something." I nod then went to my room. I sit on my bed and hug my knees. I knew it. Why would he like a poor girl like me?

The next morning, i cook breakfast for Woohyun then went straight to the office without him but luck wasn't on my side. It was raining heavily but i just ran to the nearest bus stop.

At office, everyone was looking at me weirdly. Well, I know why. They felt weird because I'm not with Woohyun. For the past 1 month, I've been coming to the office with him and today is the first day I came alone.

I went to the toilet and change into something dry.

After that, I went to the pentry and make Woohyun a cup of tea and put it on his desk. Right after that, i was about to open the door but someone from the outside opened it first, revealing Woohyun. I blink.

" why did you left early and why didn't you awake me?"

" well. I have things to get done."

" okay. Thank you for the breakfast. How's your finger?"

" its fine."

" good. Umm. Hara, please set up a meeting for everyone in my department at 10 am later." I nod and note it in my book.

" anything else Woohyun-nim?" I ask him.

" nope." I nod and was about to walk away. " wait!" I look at him then he suddenly peck my cheeks. " thank you again." He smile and walk to his table.

I left his room speechless. What is he trying to do right now??

I sit at my table seat and do my work but i couldn't focus. My body aren't feeling really well.

Woohyun's room door open. He look at me.

" hey. Are you okay? You're sweating a lot." I wipe off my sweats and continue typing on the laptop. He suddenly press his hand against my forehead.
" Hara, you're burning up. Come, let me send you home." He said.

" no. I'm fine. Its just that its hot in here. Is there anything I can do for you?"

" okay. If you say so. Yes. About the meeting, its starting now. Let's go." I nod and stand up. I press my notebook against my chest. Trying to hold in the pain but then i stumbled and everything went blackout.

Woohyun pov

I manage to catch her before she meets the floor. I pat her cheeks.

" Hara-ah, wake up. Hara! Aish! Somin!!"

" yes Woohyun-nim?"

" cancel all of my schedules for today and also the meeting. I need to take her to the hospital. Call my cousin and ask her to take care of the company for a while." She nod and start to do her work.

I carry her bridestyle and bring her to my car then bring her straight to the hospital.

A doctor came out.

" what is your relationship with the patient?"

" I'm her boss."

" umm. Okay. She's having a fever but she'll be fine and she'll wake up soon. You may check on her and after she wake up, she may discharge." I nod and bow to the doctor.

I enter her room and found her awake. I hold her hand and cup her left cheek.

" kwaenchana? You've make me worried sick." I said then hug her. " if you're sick, you should have told me. Now, let's go home and get some rest okay??" She nod then i let her go.

We walk out from the room and pay for the bills while holding hand without realising it.

I send her to her room and sit on her bed.

" make sure to take your medicine okay? I'll cook something for lunch."

" wait. Just go back to the office. I'll take care of myself."

" its okay. I've ask Somin to cancel all of my schedule for today. Get some rest. I'll go cook something."

" why?" She suddenly ask.

" why what?"

" why are you taking care of me? Why?" I was shock by her question. Why?

" because you're my secretary, if you got sick, who will help me?" I lied.

" don't give me a stupid reason Nam Woohyun." I was frozen when she called my real name.
" tell me Nam Woohyun!"

" so what?! I care about you! I don't want you to be sick so i want to make sure that you'll be okay! I need you to be with me all day so that i can do my job properly!" She was taken aback with my words. " I'm worried about you "

" why would you feel that way?" She ask me.

" because i don't know! I'm confused right now! I don't even know why am i being this way towards you. I'm not being myself when I'm with you. You have no idea how my heart beats when you're near me. I jus-" She stop me by pecking my lips. I look at her as she blush.

" shut up. You talk too much. Get out." She said but i pull her hand and cup her cheeks and kiss her on the lips.
