Chapter 24 - Melt

When dinner's ready, Hara serve the foods on the dining table and call them. When they came, Woohyun was piggybacking Minhyun like a father and a son. She just couldn't lie to herself how strong their bonds are. She wanted to be have a happy family with Woohyun but she was scared if the same thing will happen again.

" Wow. Beef stew. My favourite." Woohyun grin.

" Uwahh!! Omma, you cooked my favourite food!! Is this dish your favourite too ahjusshi?" Minhyun beamed.

" Yeap." Woohyun smiles.

" Uwah. That's great. Omma don't really like it so it means I follows my dad's taste." Minhyun grin.

" Have you ever meet your dad?" Asked Woohyun making Hara shock a bit.

Minhyun shook his head,

" No. Omma said my dad don't even know that I was created until now. She also said she came here because of my dad. So, I guess my dad is a bad guy. How can he hurt my mom's feeling?" Minhyun sighed.

" Minhyun, let's stop talking and eat. After that, get your homeworks done then go to sleep okay?" Hara said and Minhyun nodded.

After dinner, Woohyun help Minhyun with his homework as Hara was busy with her works too. Minhyun smiles all the time when Woohyun helps him. He felt so happy and its his first time feeling a love from a dad. Even though he knows that Woohyun is not his dad but he wish that Woohyun was. He felt so comfortable and happy around him and can't wait to tell Hara how he feel towards Woohyun. He started to love Woohyun without realising it even when he only knows him today.

He look at Woohyun. He knows they have a lot in common.

" Ahjusshi," he called. Woohyun look at him and answer,

" Yes?"

" Can I call you appa?" He asked with his innocent face as Woohyun was shocked.

" I have no problem with it but is your mom gonna be okay with it?"

" Of course she will. I'll asked her now." He stood up and run to her mom who was sitting on the couch. He held her hand and shook it a little. " Omma, can I call Ahjusshi, appa?" Hara eyes widen then she look at Minhyun.

" But you just know him today."

" But I'm comfortable with him and its for the first fime I felt a father's love even though he's not my father." Hara felt guilty. She look over to Woohyun and saw Woohyun was smiling.

Hara sigh and said,

" Anything you want baby." With a smile. Minhyun grin and hug his mom.

" I love you mom. You're the best." He beamed.

Woohyun was quite shock when she agrees. He never thought that she would be so weak towards Minhyun but this is the girl he loves right. She was weak towards him too before this and now, he desired to make she weak towards him again. Always giving in to him. Only him. He desired to own this girl as his forever and won't let her go from his arms.

Minhyun ran towards Woohyun and hug him.

" Appa," he beamed. Woohyun raise his eyebrows and smile at him.

" Yes?"

" How long are you gonna stay here?" Minhyun asked. He thought for a second, if I stay here, I could steal back Hara'a heart and make her mine again and at the same time, I can get to know my son better and give him the love his deserve for this past 6 years.

" As long as you want." Woohyun said. He wasn't worried for the company because his cousin can take care of it once she knows that Woohyun found Hara. Of course she will considerate about that futhermore, she's the one who told Woohyun to look for her and bring her back to Korea.

" Jinjja?!" Minhyun shocked as well as Hara.

" Woohyun, don't you have other things to do at your office? I'm sure you came here for a business job. So, once you finished your job, you should go back to Korea." Hara said

" Yes. I do have a business job here but it has ended. About my company in Korea? No worries, I can asked for Minji noona's help. So, my next job is to steal your hea-"

" Minhyun, is your homework done? Let's go to sleep." Hara interrupted, not letting Minhyun hear the next word.

" Yes. I'll see you soon appa. Let's meet if you're not busy tomorrow."

" Alright Minhyun, I will." Woohyun smile. Minhyun hug him and kiss his cheeks then Woohyun kiss his forehead. Minhyun grin and walk towards his room along with his mom.

Hara kissed Minhyun's forehead and put him to bed after saying I love you.

Hara walked back to the living room, founding Woohyun was still in her house.

" Woohyun, you can go home now."

" Not yet. I need to know about your life. What happen when I wasn't there for you? Where do you work? What is your work? You know. That kind of stuff."

" okay. I will tell you." Hara sighed and sat next to Woohyun.
" First of all, it wasn't hard when you weren't there for me. I managed to live with the money you sent me every month. I was having a hard time during giving birth to Minhyun but I was blessed with a smart and a perfect son. I was lucky and really thankful. The hardest time was when Minhyun was growing. I had to separate my time for work and for him. To take care of him and feed him. Giving him love and attention. When I worked, I hired a babysitter. And now, I'm working as a doctor. Just a normal doctor because I just started for a 4 last year. That's it." Hara said.

" So, do you need me?" Hara look at Woohyun.

" Not anymore."

" Hara, why are you being so cold?"

" Because I'm not the same Hara that you loved, Woohyun. I've changed. It has been 6 years since we last met."

" But you have know idea how much I missed you. How bad I want to hold you, to touch you."

" Woohyun stop. I've told you everything. Please leave now. I've work tomorrow."

" Okay. I'll leave. Under one condition," Hara sighed and nodded. " Is Minhyun, mine?"

Hara rolled her eyes,

" Yes. He is. Happy?" Woohyun smile.

" Okay."

" leave now."

" That wasn't the condition, that was a question." Hara pouted and hit his arm. Woohyun wince but he was happy. " The condition is, let me pick up Minhyun from school and I want to have lunch with you guys tomorrow."

" No."

" Then, I'm not leaving."

" Ughh. Fine. Tomorrow, Cambridge at 1.00pm. Arasseo?"

" You?"

" At the hospital, 7 blocks away from Cambridge. Got it?"

" Yes ma'am. Got it!" Woohyun said.

Hara walk Woohyun towards the door and walk out. Woohyun suddenly pulled her and kiss her on the lips. Hara froze but then she pull away and slap him.

Woohyun didn't move instead he look at her with full of love.

" Shin Hara, no matter what happen, I'll melt that cold heart of yours again. I swear, I will."
