"It's okay. We'll get through this together. You did the right thing." Vanessa comforted me.I nodded and hugged her. "I just wish him the best." I sniffed. She nodded. "And I'm sure he wishes you the same too. Now relax and get some rest. I'll be right by your side when you need me." She said calming me down a bit. I closed my eyes trying as hard as I could but it was hard. I nearly just ripped my heart out from my chest and handed it to him to take with him. But I'm fine. I'm alive. I'm ready.

"Hey. Um I was gonna go pick up the usual. You sure you'll be fine?" She asked. I nodded. "Yeah. I'll just stay here and drown my sorrows in tea." I smiled faintly as I raised my cup at her. She laughed. "Do you want anything else by any chance?" She asked. I shook my head. "No thanks. I'll take that breakfast pizza though." I say. "Do you wanna talk about it?" She asked. I shook my head. "No. I'm good. Thanks for the concern though." I forced a smile. "You sure because I--" I cut her off. "I'm going to shower."  I say walking off.

Reliving this once more. I never admitted just how hurt I was about it. But this time I know about it. This isn't some movie scene where everything will be alright. This is reality. The cold hard truth to it all. But I guess it's my fault. I fell in love with someone that I may never see. I can't believe how long I have lasted through it. But now its time to move on. Build another chapter in my life after this one has ended. It's not the end until everything is okay.
