Today was going to be hard. Ellington and Riker were both mad at each other for stupid reasons and Ross was feeling guilty.

Ross really had nothing to be guilty about, he was just protecting his little brother but Ellington got mad at Riker because of it and Ross couldn't feel anything but guilt.

Riker refused to do do anything for the day. He laid on his back all day, just laying there. His hazel eyes staring and all Riker could see was black, as normal. He didn't eat, he didn't sleep, he didn't pee, he didn't talk, he didn't smile and he definitely did not think of Ellington.

Well that was his goal. But of course that plan failed. All he could think of was Ellington. How he talked, how he laughed, the steadiness of his breathing, how his hands and face felt, how his lips felt. And that made him think of when he was kissing Rocky.

And now Riker was sad again. He had tried not to think of the two of them basically having sex right next to him but it burned like holes into his head. Rocky. This was all his fault.

All he wanted to do was punch Rocky in the face for hurting him and ruining any possible chances with Ellington.

"Riker?" Ross called out from behind his door, "Can I come in?"

Riker didn't answer, he just continued to stare into blackness, searching for the answers. His door creaked open slowly and Ross stepped in, sitting next to him on his bed.

"Riker, you've got to eat something, buddy." When he didn't get a reply he kept on talking.

"You can't just sit up here all day doing nothing." He was trying to be gentle with his words, not trying to break this boy in half like he had already seen happening.

"You don't need him Riker. You're stronger than this. He's just going to weigh you d-"

Riker snapped his head towards Ross. "See that's the thing, Ross! You don't get it! It's not that simple! I'm in too deep and..." His voice trailed off, tears brewing in his sad, hazel eyes.

"You're falling for him aren't you? Someone who's already taken?" Ross asked, starting to get mad at Ellington again.

"I don't really think he's dating Rocky." Riker says calmly, laying back down.

"What are you talking about? They had their tongues down each other's throats right next to you!" Ross replies, staring at him in disbelief.

"Yeah but when Rocky got there Ellington was whispering to me that he didn't expect him to be there like he was surprised and sorry for me and then after they were done with all of that, Ellington apologized and he sounded guilty. Rocky didn't say sorry once so maybe he was planning that against me for some reason." Riker said, thinking back to the previous day.

"Yeah like he was jealous that you guys were hanging out so then he got back at you." Ross figured.

They sat in silence for a moment, both of them thinking that over.

"Rocky? Jealous of a blind guy that had no chance? Hah!" Riker started laughing and Ross shushed him.

"Oh please, you do so have a chance with him. You may not be able to see it but I see the way he looks at you, Riker. There's some type of feeling there." Ross said.

"I doubt that. You've been watching way too many romance movies."

Ellington was the same way, he ignored all calls and texts and just laid there all day.

He felt so guilty for doing that to Riker. He didn't mean to make him sad or make him leave.

Why did Rocky have to be such a jealous bitch? They weren't even dating and he had to do that to poor Riker.

Riker.

What was he feeling now?

Rocky had been by, pounding on the door to let him in but Ellington made no move to talk to him ever again.

Riker probably thought he was some whore, going and trying to be with everyone. But all he wanted was Riker. And bad.

"I can't believe I made you cry." Ellington whispered to no one in particular but of course he was saying it to Riker.

He felt so bad for doing that to someone that he really liked.

Yes liked.

"I, Ellington Lee Ratliff have feelings for Riker Anthony Lynch." He whispered to himself.

First step: admitting you like them.

Done.

Step two: telling them you like them.

Nope, not happening.

Not anytime soon anyway. Not when he hates me.

"I need to talk to him, tell him the truth." Ellington said, determined.
"But not that I like him."

Ellington got up, showered, shaved, went pee, ate and of course smiled. Well he was thinking of Riker.

Then he was gone.

Gone to talk to a certain blond, hazel-eyed blind guy.

Oh and also he may or may not be hot.
