The wedding bells rang loudly. I watched as guests piled into the huge church. I looked back at myself in the mirror. The dress I wore was very much plain, not wanting anything too extravagant. It had lace all over it with a short train in the back. I had my short hair properly cut into something Fiona liked to call a "pixie cut". She said it as a joke but I wanted it to stay in honor of Perri who had short hair like mine now. Perri was now the Fiona's helper with everything Fiona needs help with. I had a flower crown around my head that Fiona had made for me. Fiona had found a spell to make her human size and she absolutely loved it. She especially loved trying on all the gowns.
"Wow, you look amazing," said Nia, who just walked into the room. She wore a sky blue dress that matched my lace. Her hair was up in a braid around her head. Even with her scar across her eye she still looked beautiful. Luckily she could still use her left eye. She still had problems with her right side. She couldn't sleep on it and sometimes hurt very much. Soon Fiona followed her, in the same outfit as Nia, she looked amazing. She had her hair in the same braid that Nia had. We all crowded together in the full-length mirror.
"Now remember Evan, smile big and don't forget everyone is watching, I can't wait to officially be sisters!" said Fiona practicing her smile in the mirror. We had found out in the past years that Fiona's brother was in fact Barric. It was a very happy reunion for both, for they now had each other again.
"I know, I know, you sound like how you used to when you taught me how to be a princess," I teased, laughing at the memory. These days I laughed a lot and why shouldn't I? I had caring friends and family. Everyday I lived it to its fullest because I learned how quickly it could all be taken away. I knew how easy it was to take things for granted. But just as easy those things could be taken away and you could lose them forever. I never missed how I used to live with Vladmire and I never regret what I did, for if I didn't I might not have ended up the way I did. Someone up there was looking out for me and maybe it was my family, but whoever it was helped me through this. They reunited me with Fiona and my father. They made me meet my new best friend, Nia and my partner, Jasper. The force led Vladmire to send me to the warm bakery to meet Barric and then sent me on a quest to find out I could love again. It made me face the hardest challenges, and get hurt a lot, but in the end it led me to realize that I was more than the stone walls and barred windows that were too high that I could only see the blue of the sky.THE END
