(Lucy's p.o.v)

11 hours left.

After I had reached my home, which was made entirely out of trees somehow. I remember when I was younger, before the fire, my father used to bring me and Nate, my brother, here, he said it was grown using magic but now that I think about it, he probably only said that to fuel our growing imaginations.

As I entered the small but somehow two-storied house, all I could think about was what Leah said earlier.

I was brought out of my thoughts by someone knocking on the front door. I tried staying as quiet as possible as I made my way towards the door to investigate who was here and how they found my home. After the person had knocked a few more times and I still didn't answer thinking if they thought no one was here they would give up and leave, but clearly this person was more determined to get in then I thought. You know that feeling when your watching a horror movie and the victim is just standing there watching the door handle slowly turn as your screaming at them to run, well, that's what I'm doing standing here frozen from an unknown emotion surging through my body making my heart beat rapidly in my chest. That emotion that was surging through my body I worked out to be what people like to call 'fear'.

As the door slowly crept open I felt as sudden wave of dread wash over me, dread of what could or would happen to me if I don't do anything. So me being me I did the first thing that popped into my head, I ran full speed at the door and throw all my weight at it successfully slamming the door shut and knocking the person down that was behind it.

"The actual fuck" a familiar voice said from the other side of the door. I quickly ripped the door open to see a familiar set of ice blue eyes staring at me from a massive pile of limbs on the forest floor.

"Ryder?" I asked questionly, "how the hell did you find my place and not to mention why were you trying to get inside?" I asked angrily, annoyed at the fact that he was the first to find my home but also that he was trying to break in.

"Um... I got curious about the area and I heard someone mention an old burnt down house out this way so I wanted to investigation and ended up stumbling apon this place" he said but ever since I was little it was strange I can tell when anyone, no matter how well they try to hide it, lies.

"Your lying" I replied with confidence.

"Fine, I followed you here" he admitted. For some strange reason I felt betrayed, like he was keeping something from me. "Holy shit you-your eyes"he said wide eyed looking scared out of his mind.

"There black I know"

"No its not that, it-its they changed to a dark grey colour!" He pretty much yelled

"What?!" I all but screamed running back inside looking for a mirror. When I looked I the mirror I saw something that would freak anyone and I mean anyone out, my eyes were a dark grey but soon changed to a dark blue almost black colour then back to black.

Suddenly I started to feel light headed and fell back only to be pulled in to a warm muscular chest.

"Come on, stay with me now Lucy, stay awake, don't close your eyes stay awake!" Was the last thing I hear before the world went black.
