*Dream*

Red, blue, orange, yellow and gold, that was the only thing I could see. Mile and mile, it seamed to go on never ending.

Suddenly, all that disappeared, leaving me in nothing but black which seams to growing lighter. Colours started forming. Green, blue, brown, any colour you could think of, appeared out of the black forming an image. The image was of a beautiful meadow with mountains towering behind it. The meadow had a mixture of red, yellow, purple, and many other colored flower, coating the surface of the land. Surrounding the meadow was what seamed to be a never ending forest of different trees, mainly evergreens thou.

Looking down I notice I was in a black sweetheart dress. The skirt part of the dress instead of being black like the top was a mixture of red, yellow and orange, swirling around making it almost look like live fire. The dress ended just above my knees and flared at the my waist. For some reason my feet were bare.

Have you ever had that feeling that your being watched. The feeling of someone or something's eyes drilling holes into your back, analyzing you.

Turning around slowly I saw something that not only cause fear to strick but for some odd reason cause a sense of peace and calmness to flow through me. There stood a huge black wolf with glowing red eyes. When I say huge I mean like twice the size of a normal wolf. Suddenly the wolf started morphing in to a human, but not just any human, no it was morphing into my father. Out of the trees walk to figures. Upon closer inspection I notice they weren't just anyone, they were my mother and my older brother.

"Wh-what aren't you guys d-dead" I managed to stutter out after getting over the shock of seeing them after 10 years.

"We are but we were given one last chance to explain what's happening and what's going to happen in a couple of hours." My mother said in a soft, low voice that seamed to echo all around us.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You may want to sit down for this one, Lou." Nate piped up.

"Okay" was my only response while I lowered myself down onto the ground. My family followed my lead by sitting down as well.

"Okay, where to start..." My dad mumbled to himself before clearing his throat and saying louder, "right, so, do you remember all those stories I used to tell you and your brother before the fire?" He asked which I merely nodded to. "Well what would you say if I told you they were real and not just stories?"

"Probably say you are crazy." Was my answer.

"Well, that's the thing, they are, their more real then you think, closer than you would ever think, all you have to do is look closer, closer than normal." He said, confusing the hell out of me. Before I could interrupt he carried on. "Remember when you were younger and and we lived in that huge house with a few other families? Well, we were what you would call part of a pack. A pack of werewolves. In that pack there are ranks or what some would call the food chain of a society. At the bottom there is the omegas, they are the lowest ranking wolf in a pack. But even if they are the lowest ranking they still get treated equally, they are just more submissive and all that stuff.

Above the omegas in the normal pack members. The normal pack members are what makes up most of the pack. In this category it gets split up even further by going off into pack warriors, pack doctors, the pack guards, etcetera, etcetera.

Above all them is the gamma. The gamma is the third in command so if anything happens to the alpha or beta, who I'll get to in a moment, they will help keep the balance of the pack. If the beta dies the gamma takes its place if there is no heir to fill in the previous persons place. If the alpha somehow dies the gamma takes the betas place and the beta takes the alphas place if no heir is available for the position.
