Ch 6 - Do You Know 5 Seconds of Summer? ×

They excitedly got up to their feet. I can't believe this. We're just a few houses away and I'm really nervous right now while they are joking around like its nothing. I stopped walking and and turn around. They immediately stop.

"I don't think its a good idea." I said.

"Come on Calum! You said we're almost there." Luke complained.

"Too late to turn back, mate!" Michael said. I can see he's near to burst out laughing.

"Just keep going." Ashton said. I let out a long sighed and continue walking. When we reached her front yard a golden retriever puppy greeted us. I can see that her door is open.

"Hey there buddy!" I called out when he runs towards me.

"Ash?" Someone called out. I immediately turn my head towards her door.

"Hi! Are you Calum's new friend?" Michael said. Oh shit! I didn't tell them that I'm Thomas when she's around.

I nervously looked at her and she looks quite confused.

"You mean Thomas?" She said and walks towards us.

"Hi London." I said awkwardly. "Uhh...These are my friends...Luke, Michael and Ashton."

"What's up?" Luke said.

She let out a small laugh. "What's so funny?" Asked Michael.

"My dog's name is Ashton." She said trying not to laugh in front of Ashton.

"I heard." Ashton said like it actually happened before.

"Sorry, the pet owner named him. I tried to change it but he doesn't respond to any name. So..." She trailed off.

"Its okay, I don't mind. Besides its a nice name." Ashton said and smiled.

"So...what are you guys doing here?" She asked.

"Oh, we want to meet you!" Michael piped in immediately. I run my fingers through my hair in disappointment. Michael.

"Oh...Okay..." She sounds confused. "Umm...come inside."

"Sure!" Michael said excitedly. London starts walking towards the house and before Michael and the rest could follow, I stopped them to have my warning.

"I forgot to tell you guys..." I said under my breath. "I told her I'm Thomas."

Luke and Ashton giggled while Michael looks like an evil queen. I give him a warning look.

"We heard, mate." Luke said mockingly. I just let out a sigh and we headed inside the house.

We sit on the couch while she set up a small table. She puts chocolate cupcakes on it and a pitcher of orange juice.

"Breadsticks." She said. All of us grab one and start nibbling on it.

"Do you know Five Seconds of Summer?" Michael asked immediately after she take her seat. Luke, Ashton and me almost chokes on our breadsticks.

"Yeah. Heard of them." She added.

Luke chokes again on his breadstick.

"Are you okay?" She asked Luke. Luke nodded but she handed him a glass of orange juice.

I try to elbowed Michael to tell him to stop.

"Did you pre-order their new album yet?" Michael asked again.

London looks at me and give me a what-is-he-talking-about look. "Uhh...I don't know...maybe... since my niece actually use my apple id, she probably bought it already...why?"

"Do you know what they look like?" Ashton said which makes me almost fall out of my seat. I look at him in shock. Really Ashton? You too?

"I think so..." I listen intently to her. "But you know, you don't buy an entire album  to listen to their faces."

"Ohh nice answer!" Luke said for the first time after he almost choke.

"She don't really have any idea who we are right now." Ashton said as quitely as he can. "Should I tell her?" He teased.

"Don't you dare." I said quitely.

"So, what's you favorite song of them?" Michael asked. Will he ever stop giving me a heart attack everytime he asked her?

"....I like If you don't know actually." She said. I never expected that.

"I dare you to sing your part on that song." Ashton said under his breath.

"Shut up, Ashton." I'm really trying hard not to punch them on their faces right now.

"How about you Thomas?" She suddenly asked.

"Uhh...Never be." I answered without even thinking.

"Why do you keep on calling him Thomas?" Michael asked her. Holy shit Michael!

"Uhh that'ts what he told me... Actually I'm wondering where did Calum came from?"

Both Michael and Ashton looked at me. Oh shit! What should I say?

"Its Calum Thomas really we're just into calling him Calum." Luke said. Thank god! At least someone in my band wants to save me from humiliation!

"Oh... Calum is a nice name. Can I call you Calum then?" She asked looking at me smiling. Its like the world stop.

Ashton elbowed me and bring me back to reality. "Oh yeah, sure." I said and looked at Ashton. He just give me a what-the-hell-was-that look.

We just spend another couple of hours talking about things more of getting to know each other. She's really independent honestly, living alone in a place where she don't even know anyone and I really admire her because of that. Michael talks a lot and I can see my friends like her too, besides she's really easy to get along to.
