Ch 14 - She's My Girlfriend ×

We already packed our bags when Ashton, Luke and Michael come back before noon.

"We're leaving so soon?" Michael asked as he saw our bags are loaded already inside the van.

"I'm so sorry guys, but we have to leave..." I started. "Mali just called earlier, Dad's in the hospital."

"Wait...What?" Luke asked, looking shocked. Luke usually get along with Dad whenever he have to wait for me. "What happened? Is it serious?"

"No, not really. He broke his arm but Mali won't be here until tomorrow morning and Mum, you know her. She's probably in panic right now." I said and so all of us get inside already and drives away.

"I'm sorry that we have to leave early, London." I said when she leaned her head on my shoulder.

"Its okay. Besides, we can always come back, right? What's important is your Dad right now."

"Mum!" I cried as I saw Mum, talking to the doctor outside Dad's room.

"How's Dad?" I asked her immediately.

"He's fine now. We actually have to give him some meds to make him sleep so he won't feel much of the pain." The doctor said to me when I get to them.

"Dad's fine, now." Mum added.

"How about you? Are you alright, Mum?"

"Yes, I fine. Don't worry about me." Mum said. I heard footsteps running towards us. I see Ashton, Luke and Michael together with London heading towards us.

"How's your Dad?" Luke asked.

"He's fine now. Asleep, the doctor give him medication but nothing lethal." I told him, assuring everyone that's theres nothing to worry.

I saw my Mum's expression when she saw London, a little bit surprised since we don't often hang out with girls.

"Mum, there's someone I'd want you to meet." I said and put an arm around London

"Mum, this is London. My girlfriend." I said flashing my smile to my mother but I can feel London that's she's a bit nervous. Probably this is not the best place to meet your boyfriend's parents.

"Nice to meet you dear!" Mum said, beaming as she hugged her tightly then lrt go after a moment. "Calum, I'm so happy for you." And plant a kiss on my cheek.

"I'm glad you liked her, Mum." I said but seriously though, what's not to like about her?

I decided to stay at hospital for the rest of the day so Mum can change her clothes. The boys and London, left after a while to change too.

Mali arrived early the next morning, both her and Dad meet London later that morning and by noon, Dad was already discharged but with a cast on his arms but its better than staying longer in the hospital.

"I'd like to take you where I used to hang out aside from that spot in the park." I told London when we met later that afternoon walking downtown.

"I'm excited... And happy." She said and squeezed my hand lightly.

"Happy?" I asked and cocked my head to the side.

"Because you're taking me to another place where you loved to go." She said smiling at me.

"I'd like to take you to every place that I love but for now, I'd like you to see this." I said as we enter an old music shop. It still looks the same the last time I went here. Different musical instruments stacked everywhere.

"Good to see you again mate!" Eddie greeted us the moment we enter the shop. He's a middle aged guy and the owner of the place, by the way.

"Hey, Eddie! How are you?" I said. He actually helped my parents to pick up my first steel string guitar back then.

"Fine, mate. And who is this girl with you?" He asked looking at the girl beside me.

"This is London, Eddie. My girlfriend." I said.

"Nice to meet you, Eddie." London said politely.

"Nice to meet you too young lady." He said. "You know you can always try all of the instruments here okay?" Making a hand gesture.

"Yeah, thanks man!" I said and started looking around, trying every single guitar and bass guitar that was on display. London and I started to pick things up on our own.

I was totally lost that I almost forgot that I have someone with me when I heard a sound. Violin. I knew because we worked already to a few philharmonics when we are recording the previous album.

The classic piece floats around the shop, making everyone stop on their feet. I was completely surprised to see London, playing the violin, playing Canon. She plays it perfectly like a pro and I just can't let this moment pass and joined her.

We occasionally looked at each other's eyes, both of us smiling. It feels like we created a new bond with each other through music. You know guys how music is very important to me.

As we both ended the piece, the people on the shop startes to clapped their hands. I made my way towards her and kissed her on the cheek and heard someone say aww. That definitely made me smile aside from the talented girl standing in front of me.

A lot of the audience went to shake hands with London, complementing her talent which made me really proud of her.

"Guess we gotta go mate!" I told Eddie after all of them went.

"You're always welcome to come back here, better if you come with her." Eddie said and chuckled.

We made our way outside the shop, holding her hands. Heading our way towards my spot in the park.

"You never told me that you can play violin!" I exclaimed happily at her.

"Its just a small thing, Thomas." She said as we both take a seat on the grass. "Besides, its just a hobby that started when I was still in high school." I helped her to prepare the pizza we bought earlier before visiting the shop.

"Can you please tell some other things you do or planning to do so I can prepare myself?" I told her jokingly, she just rolled her eyes on me and watch the sunset.

"Well, you already know that I'd like to travel, but I'd also wants to learn how to cook and drive a car, and become a rock star... But kinda inpossible since I can't be a rock star by just playing the violin. Its suppossed to be in the orchestra." She said, trying to cut small pieces of grass by her hands.

"London, you don't have to play any other instruments to be a rock star." I told her and just gave me a strange look.

"You already rocked my world." I said without even realizing what I just said.

"Cheese balls!" She said as she laughed from the words that just escaped from my mouth.

I plucked a deep breath. "London, everything that you do interest me..." I said looking directly to her brown eyes. "Whether you're just sitting here with me on the grass, or listening to your favorite songs, or playing with your dog, or playing the violin, baking or cooking, driving a car or even cuddling with me. It interest me, London. Don't ever forget about that because I love you and I won't even get tired of watching you doing these small things all over again because I am truly, completely, madly in love with you."

"I love you too, Thomas and I am extremely happy that you feel the same way." She said, giving me this loving look of her eyes. I leaned closer to her, pressing my lips againt hers. Damn! I flipped! Completely flipped. I don't even care if someone will see us kissing. I don't care if a paparazzi caught us and it will be a headline when I wake up tomorrow. I love her and I'm not ashamed of it. Fuck it! Let the whole world know that I love her.

"No one ever made me feel this way, Thomas. You really made me feel special ever since I met you." She said as she put her head against my shoulder.

"I'll never get tired to make you feel special every single day. Don't forget that." I promised and intertwined my hand on her.
