"The talk"

After breakfast Matt suggested we go to the park since it was the weekend,i agreed but only because we needed to talk.Once we got to the park Matt ran to 'his' tree and I followed him and giggled at how happy he was for a tree.

"What's so funny?"Matt asked.

"Oh nothing." I said grinning.

"Whatever you said we needed to talk."Matt said.As soon as he said that I tensed and became serious.

"Yeah do you remember anything from last night?" I asked very serious because if he didn't then there was no issue.I wonder if he's using because of the breakup.I was really going to hurt Rachel.How could she do this to him.I know he broke up with her but it was her fault.Matt told me she was cheating on him.I really didn't like her and from what my sister tells me she does not like me either.It still surprises me that she and that she-devil are friends.

"Actually yes and I guess I owe you an explanation.I am really sorry I didn't show up on time.On top of that I was a bit high when I got.The breakup really affected me and not in a good way.I kissed you and it was not a mistake.I don't think I want a relationship right now."Matt said.I just sat there not saying anything like an idiot.I rested my against his shoulder and just sighed.

"Matt your not addicted right."That was all I could say because I understood.I just dealt with a breakup differently.I never really cried because nothing was worth my tears.He nodded his head no.I was very relieved.I did not need that in my life.

"Hey do you want ice-cream?"Matt asked.

"Of course do you even have to ask."I said giddily if that was a word well it is to me.Matt pulled me up and we walked over to the ice-cream stall hand in hand. Surprisingly his hand was soft and the feeling of his hand intertwined with mine was enough to make me blush.

"Does your girlfriend want anything?"The ice cream vendor asked making me blush.

"Yeah she'll have a berry explosion." Matt answered and the man nodded.

" What's a berry explosion."I asked

"An ice-cream with different types of berries.By the way we are going to have share it ok."He finishes with a smirk.I rolled my eyes but inside I was a bit too excited.

He paid for the ice-cream and dragged me back to his tree.I wondered why he didn't want to go home but it I liked his company so I was going to shut up.

"You know I always came here as a kid.I even carried Rachel here." Matt interupted my thoughts.I frowned when I heard her name.Then I saw her walking past and because I have the worst luck she saw me.

"So I finally get to meet the b*tch who stole my boyfriend."Rachel said her voice was a bit high pitched if you asked me.Guess who was with her,Lizzy and she decided to say something.

"Don't talk to my sister like that everyone knows they're just friends." Lizzy said confidently.I was a bit shocked.Frankly I didn't care what Rachel said so i didn't need to defend myself.

"Liz don't answer her she's not worth anyone's breath so I'm going to go." I said flatly and left.Rachel just wanted attention.I can tell from her instagram page.I don't know why Liz is friends with her.I heard footsteps behind me it was Matt.

"Hey what was that for!?"Matt asked.He looked sad and angry at the same time.

"Dont get mad at me when she is the one who drags you around.Do you think she cares if your sad?No she never did because you dont cheat on the person you love that's just wrong ok if you can't see that then something is wrong." I answered a bit pissed.How could he be so blind unless he was in love.I wonder if he was.I looked into his eyes,they glassy and he looked like he was on the brink of tears.I pulled him into a hug and he cried on my shoulders.

"You are always right.She was a mistake.She ruined my life.I wasted 4 years on her.I'm so dumb."Matt hiccupped.

"No you're not. She is dumb I mean look at you. Smart,cute and funny.Rachel missed out." I ensured him.Matt looked up at me said 'I believe you."

After that we started walking around the park and everyone thought we were a couple.I laughed when a little girl said "Ms your boyfriend is handsome." Matt started blushing it was hilarious.

"I have to ask why does a pretty girl like you not have a new boyfriend yet." Matt asked.

"I don't really feel like I need to. " I responded. He shrugged his shoulders.
"Suppose someone asked you out would you say yes." Matt asked
"If they're interesting enough maybe."I told him.
"You should come to my friend's party this weekend." Matt said.
"Nah I'll pass but anyways when is your birthday?" I questioned.
"Next week Saturday. "He answered.
I was getting him something I just don't know what yet.I'll get him something he'll never forget.
"Nattie Nattie Nattie!" Matt shouted while snapping his fingers in my face.
"Sup." I responded.
"Can you me off at work please." Matt asked.
I almost forgot he had a job.I nodded my head yes while running to the car.
"Last one there is a rotten egg." I shouted.I beat him there and when he got there he looked at me like I was crazy.I just got in the car grinning like hell.
"You know sometimes I forget that your younger than me." Matt says.I did too I just was always around people his age so I just fit in with them all the time.
"Does that mean you think I'm mature?" I asked smirking.
" Yeah I do." Matt replied making smile."Sike!" He finished.I'm definitely the more mature one.
