Complicated

Birthday Party

Today was Matt's birthday and I had finally figured out what to give him, a kiss.I like him and I want to know if he likes me. Matt was throwing a party at his place and I was excited to go since I had never been.

Kyle and Lizzy resolved their issues thanks to me of course.While they were sleeping in a nice comfortable bed I was sleeping on their futon.Matt stayed over too but I divided the futon so nothing would happen.

I was currently making breakfast for the love birds who had slept in and I didn't want to know why.The first time I saw them kiss I gagged its just...weird.Matt had left before I woke up I heard him on the phone saying something about work.Matt had a part-time job running his a business with his close friends.They owned Rue 21 so I guessed that's not part-time but what can I say he's good. Me on the other hand my part-time job is babysitting. I love it trust me.

I put a pancake in each plate and put strips of bacon beside it and to finish it of I made orange juice. The two of them came out their room dumbfounded. I can't blame them no-one has ever seen me cook because my parents never asked.I was a really good cook though I always had jobs as waitress but sometimes I had to make the food and it was really good .Liz took a seat at the breakfast bar and started eating and shortly Kyle followed. I was taking up my plate when Liz patted the seat beside her so I sat there.
"So Nattie why didn't you put a longer caption under Matt bday post." Liz asked smirking.
"I dunno maybe cuz he's not my boyfriend." I said a bit pissed.Did she have to say that in front of Kyle.
"Thats what you say now." Liz replied.

Matt's party started an hour ago but I was just arriving because Liz said I should 'keep him waiting' whatever that means.I was happy I brought my outfit in the overnight bag.My outfit was really pretty although Liz picked it out.It was a violet mid thigh strapless dress.I wore black 5 inch stilettos and studded knob earnings with it.

When I got there I didn't see Matt but I did see Kyle oh no.He took my hand and led me to the back and there Matt was with his friends and sure enough Scott was there.Matt's face lit up when he saw me.
"I've seen her before haven't I?"One of Matt's friends asked him.Matt nodded and took out his phone.I walked over there cause I wanted to see but of course he locked the phone before I could.
"Hey I wanted to see blue eyes." I told him while poking his chest.
"Thats why I did that patience my young butterfly." Matt responded before dragging me onto the dance floor.
"I don't like to dance in public." I told him.
"Why, are you afraid I'll out dance you?" Matt asked.
I narrowed my eyes at him "You do that I turned down my scholarship from like five of the best dance schools so lets see." I said.I wasn't lying either I've been doing dance since I was 2.The only reason I didn't take those scholarships is because I wanted to do psychology and other people need that scholarship.
Soon a good song came and by the I mean Lets Just be Real by Def Loaf.I started dancing and grinding on Matt and I heard Liz tell me to work it and I did.When the song finished I turned and Matt looked really shocked.We went to get drinks of course I couldn't drink I was the designated driver.I sat on the counter and swung my legs.
"So why not dance pretty girl?"Matt asked and blushed when he said pretty.
"Well lets see I like what I'm majoring and I'm going teach dance if I don't like this anyways." I responded.
"At least you like what your majoring in.You know I wanted to go to art school but my parents did not want me to so because they were paying I listened to them but I still regret it ." Matt told before sipping some beer.
"Why didn't you explain that to your parents?" I asked.
"I did but they didn't think that was stable but when I'm finished here I might go to an art school in abroad.Thats why we invested in Rue 21.To make money so we can either go back to college or have a year off."Matt explained.
"Well I don't mind because how else would we have met." I said smiling like and idiot just then a girl stumbled in.
"Does anyone else see a bunny on bday boys head cuz I do.I feel light headed .Matt what did you give me."The girl slurred.I gave Matt an a questioning look.

"I just have beer I think you're confused. " Matt responded. He grabbed my hand and led outside.

"So do you want your gift?" I asked.
"It depends am I gonna like it?" Matt said.I didn't say anything though I just kissed him.It was so sweet and like nothing I've done before.He lifted me of the ground and I wrapped my legs around him.When we finally stopped out lips were red and I was blushing. Why am I always blushing.

"Well that was something. "Matt whispered. But I heard him and smiled.
"Did you like it?" I asked
He nodded and put me down.Then he kissed me on the cheek and went inside.After that I left and went back to the dorm.I had a wedding to go to tomorrow and I still have no date oh well.

When I got to my dorm Taylor was there which is strange.
"Tay is everything ok?" I asked .
"I heard a muffled sound come from the pillow so I walked over to her bed.
"Nattie my boyfriend he did it again and I tried to stop him but he slapped me." Taylor cried.

I hugged her tight and told her to give her phone but first I called Adrian.Adrian said he was bringing Noah just in case.Then I called him and told him never to contact Taylor again and that she was getting a restraining order against him.

Taylor thanked me and was about to go to sleep when I asked her to go to the wedding with me and she said yes.
