Calm before the storm.

The next day came around in full swing and breakfast was just ending. Yuzu smiled at Yume, who simply nodded in agreement. They walked up to Haru, who was washing the cups and asked in a very cute and scheming voice. ''Haru-papa? Can me and Yume go on the hunt today?''

Kana overheard and replied simply with a. ''No.''

''Yes.''

The two adult vampires glared at each other, wondering why they had differing opinions. Kana was the first however to speak. ''Haru, why are you saying yes to them? We were attacked 2 DAYS ago, we don't know if it's safe yet to send them out.''

''I understand that, Kana. But their still young and need the training, plus it should be fine and safe out there by now.''

The two ten year old girls looked at Kana, with pouting mouths and pleading eyes with tears filling them up in them. The vampire sighed, and groaned a little. She was weak to that look, especially as Haru went and joined in with the 10 year old vampires. ''Fine, but be extra careful. If you get caught by slayers, return home immediately.''

The girls grinned and nodded, before running out and cheering with glee. They immediately ran to their bedroom, spooking little Homura, who was playing with her Dance Dance Revolution game. She looked at them, with curiousity before shutting the game off and walking over. ''Wuzu-papa, whw did woo and Wume-mama ruw in and swook Howura?''

Yuzu looked at the small toddler, and sighed. ''Sorry, Homura-chan. It's just, me and Yume are going out of a little while and we kinda wanted to get dress. I'm sorry that we scared you.''

''Going out? Can I come with you?''

''Sorry, little one. But this type of going out is different and not for toddlers.'' said Yume, trying not to sound me but not coming off very well.

Noticing that the small toddler had tears whelming in her eyes, Yuzu glared at Yume and tried to calm the child down. ''You can come out with us next time, Homura-chan. Don't worry, just because you can't come with us this time, doesn't mean you can't next time.''

''Woo meaw it?'' asked the toddler, sadly.

''Yes, I do. Now, run along and find your sister and Yuki-nee. Me and Yume need to get changed.''

Homura giggled and toddled out of the room, stumbling a bit but stayed on her feet. The 10 year old vampires smiled as she left. Yuzu glanced at Yume and said. ''You could have said that with a different tone of voice, and maybe different words.''

''Look, I'm sorry. I'm not used to speaking with infants or toddlers like I'm their parent. I'm going to be a bad mother in the future, aren't I?''

''Maybe, but you have the chance to change that with Homura believing your her mother. You have the chance to change and personally I don't mind if you turn out a bad mother because I'll love you even if you do turn out to be bad with children.'' said Yuzu, walking up to her girlfriend and gently kissing her on the forehead.

Yume smiled and kissed Yuzu on the lips, the said girl returned in favor. Their kiss was very passion and intense. They stayed like that for a while, Yuzu even pressed her tongue against Yume's lips and begged for entrance. Yume let her and their tongues danced as their saliva mixed as they parted and pressed their lips back together.

''Okay, we need to stop if we want to go on this hunt.'' said Yume, pressing Yuzu away.

The other girl pouted and sulked for a little bit, but eventually nodded and said. ''Alright, we do want to go on this hunt. I personally just want some fresh blood.''

Yume nodded, and finished getting changed. Yuzu followed suite and they trotted out of the bedroom and bumped straight into Homura, who was holding hands with Nozomi, who was standing next to Yuki. Yuki grinned and said. ''Hey, lovey-dovey lovebirds. Isn't the nest a little small?''

Yuzu growled and stared at Yuki with boredom. ''Yuki-nee, shut up. Yes, me and Yuzu are in love. You don't have to push your luck on the idea. You can shut the fuck up, right now.'' She raised her finger out the older girl, who frowned.

''Aren't you a ten year old, Yuzu-chan? How do you even know that language?'' said Nozomi, with a bit of curiosity in her eyes. She also looked very concerned, and sort of annoyed at Yuki, who she agreed with Yuzu about.

''Because I been around Haru-papa a bit too much. And when your older sister decides to tease you when she's in love herself!? And you, Nozomi-nee, keep your fucking girlfriend under control for me will you?''

Yuki stared at her. ''Okay, little sis. For starters, you can stop using language like that. It's wrong and not very nice. I will stop teasing you and Yume-chan, but you need to keep that language to a minimal or Kana-mama will get on your back, and she doesn't like that language.''

Homura stared at her 'papa', in curiosity and shyness making Yuzu groaned, even before the toddler said anything. ''Um uh...Wuzu-papa...Whaw doew wuck meaw?...It doewn't souwd wight....it's souwds meaw.''

Yuzu sighed. ''Homura-chan, that word is very bad and you shouldn't say it without a full reason. I said it because Yuki-nee is being a idiot, who needs to respect other people's feelings, especially the feelings of her younger sisters.''

Homura smiled, and nodded. ''Baw worw, wow't swy.'' She toddled around Yuzu's leg and hugged her, before lifted her arms into the air. ''Uppy!'' Yuzu sighed, and picked the toddler up of the floor and gently hugged her, trying not to let her annoyance get the better of her.

Yume looked at Yuzu, who was a mix of annoyance and calmness. ''Yuzu, lets just go. We're late as it is. Homura-chan, you can sleep in our bed with us tonight. Instead of in your crib. If you leave your papa alone, so we can go out.''

The child nodded,  with a small smile as she got out of Yuzu's ams. Yuzu smiled, as she watched the small toddler wandered off. She then walked over to Yume, and held her girlfriend's hand as they walked to the door and left the building for their hunt.
