Daybreak.

Morning came shortly for the vampires of the house. The last ones up were Yuzu and Yume but that was too be expected with the pain they were clearly in. Yume was the first of the pair to awaken and she gently smiled down at Yuzu's sleeping form.

She got up and wandered to the mirror, looking over her black and blue bruises and sighed at the sight of herself. ''Damn it, their even more visible today..''

''Your still...beautiful.'' said a weak voice. Yume turned to see Yuzu sitting up and holding the locket in her hand. ''You gave me this didn't you, Yume?''

''Y-yea....it was your b-birthday so I gave it you....''

Yuzu smiled and flicked it open to see the image inside. ''It's beautiful, just like you.'' She got up and walked over to Yume. She smiled again, and gently leaned into her girlfriend, kissing her on the lips and even used her tongue to gain access into the other girl's mouth.

Yume moaned a little, at the sensation of Yuzu's tongue wandering around her mouth, and was forced into the mirror that she was just looking into. She slowly began to use her own tongue to dance with Yuzu's and traded saliva with the other girl. They eventually parted, both blushing, and with a trail of saliva falling out of their mouths. Yuzu grinned and gave Yume a small peak on the lips, causing her girlfriend to blush. The half-ling grinned and began teasing Yume. ''Got cha!''

''Mou...that's mean, Yuzu.'' cried Yume, blushing heavily as she glanced back at the mirror to see that it was cracked. Screw 7 years bad luck, she had to put up with a teasing girlfriend. ''Your so mean..and you broke the mirror...how are you going to say that to Hinata-san?''

Yuzu shrugged in a uncaring way. ''Just shut up and let me kiss cha.'' Yume sighed, but let Yuzu do what she wanted. Yuzu smirked and began kissing the other girl in heavy passion and love. Yume blushed as she let Yuzu kiss her. The half-ling tilted her head, curiously and asked. ''Want me to stop?''

''Y-yeah...I'm getting hungry after all.''

Yuzu sighed, understanding. ''Well, I would say we could go on a hunt but you know that Kana-mama will never let us out after that incident. Even Haru-papa will agree with her...ugh, it's so unfair and annoying.''

''Well, yeah. But after us being attacked by slayers, I think they have every right to not let us go on hunts anymore. I wouldn't want to see you get hurt by slayers again, not like that.'' A small tear rolled down Yume's face as she remembered seeing her girlfriend's bloodied stomach, that had apparently healed to the point that the girl could walk.

Yuzu looked at her, worriedly. ''You okay, Yume?''

''Yeah, I'm fine.'' said Yume, wiping the tear quickly. She then walked over to Homura's toddler bed and saw the young child was awake and staring at her. She smiled down and said ''Good morning, Homura-chan.''

''Morwing, Wume-mama.''

Yume smiled, picking the toddler up. ''Come on, Yuzu. Let's go downstairs, we do need to have a drink sooner or later, it'll bring our strength up.''

''Wuzu-papa, Wume-mama. Swill huwting?''

Yuzu nodded at Yume, before looking at Homura. She knew that Hinata had probably told the toddler sort-of about their injuries. She smiled and ruffled the toddler's hair. ''Don't worry, Homura-chan. We are okay.''

Yume nodded in agreement. ''Yeah, we're perfectly fine. Vampires heal quickly, remember?''

''Oh yeaw.'' mumbled the toddler, almost stupidly.

Yuzu looked down, at the thought of being a half-ling. They had a mix of healing time speeds between human's and vampire's so they were longer then vampires but quicker then humans at healing. Yume looked at her and put a hand on the girl's cheek. ''Don't worry, it'll only be a few days even with your mix time.''
