Yuzu hit a punching bag, viciously as she panted but continued to hit the bag. She panted again and gave up. She got a towel through at her, she grabbed it with one hand and smiled at the thrower as Yume walked in. ''Morning, Yume.''

''Why are you up so early, Yuzu?'' asked the other teen. ''It's only 6 o-clock, that's a bit early even for you.''

''Shut up...I wanted to get some training in.''

''Yuzu-papa!'' came a cry of joy, as a small child ran into the gym room and hugged her. ''Morning to you, Yuzu-papa.''

''Morning, Homura. Where's Makoto and the others?''

''Mako-chan is in the living room and everybody else is asleep still.'' said the small child, quickly making it hard for Yume to keep up with her but Yuzu understand every single word.

''Alright, now how about we join Makoto in the living room. The 6 year old nodded, and the pair left the room. Yume smiled and followed them.

They arrived in the living to be met by the 7 year old Makoto, who was watching TV. The 'girl' smiled at them when she saw them. ''Morning, you three.'' Yuzu nodded, saying 'good morning' as well. She sat down and watched TV with them, as she thought back to the past 5 years of their life.

She and Yume had gotten even closer to each other, if that was possible. Their relationship hadn't passed simply kissing, hugging and sleeping in the same bed but they didn't need it too, they loved each other without being sexual attached.

As for appearances, Yuzu had let her pigtails grow out to the point they reached way passed her knees with let down. She had kept them up in the pigtails, as it was to long to keep down. Her blue eyes nearly always shone brightly. Her clothes were simple, she could no longer wear her dress as she had finally earned herself a growth spurt, and now actually looked like a teenager instead of the preteen stuck in a toddler's body issue.

And Yume, her pink hair was let down and was pretty long as it reached her hips. She had a black headband with a golden rose. Her bat, Koumori, would often sit in the rose to stay with it's master at all times. Much like her girlfriend, her body had grown and she was even taller then Yuzu again, much to the shorter girl's displeasure.

As for Yuki and Nozomi, their relationship had picked up a little more then Yuzu and Yume's. They were very close, often sharing their mugs of blood with each other or simply taking baths together and their closest was often an embarrassment to the younger girls.

The adults were still the same, like usually. Nothing had changed, other then Haru wanting to have her own biological child, which was obviously impossible. Kana would often tell her wife that but apparently Haru didn't want to listen.

Despite becoming a preteen, Akumu's personality hadn't changed. Neither had her body at that. Like Yuzu, she didn't seem to have had a growth spurt in years. She still could pass for a 7 year old if she wanted to, which she didn't. She still looked up to Yuzu like a older sister which Yuzu didn't mind if Akumu didn't undermine her actually sister, which she seemed to do. Yet Tenchi didn't seem to care that much, saying she was use to it coming from Akumu's father who would forget she existed even though she was his step-daughter.

As for the little ones, they were in school and best friends. They acted like they were sisters or cousins when of course if you tried to figure out how their relationship actually worked, they would be 'aunt' and 'niece'. As for Makoto, she was leaning more towards her girl side then her boy side, meaning her 'Mamoru' personality were losing control, and so she was wearing dresses and skirts a lot more often then she did as a toddler.

''Yuzu-mama?'' asked Homura. ''What'cha doing?''

Yuzu jumped out of her thoughts and looked down at her 'daughter' and smiled. She thought for a moment on what she should say before she actually spoke to the 6 year old. ''Just thinking about the last few years, Homura. Don't worry too much.''

''Okay then, what were you thinking about relating to those years?''

Yuzu grinned and said, while hugging the young child, who took joy in the cuddle. ''How much you grown, how close me and Yume are.'' Yume glanced at her, and blushed at the comment. Yuzu giggled to herself. ''Yeah, stuff like that.''

''Cool!'' Homura cheered, cuteness filling her voice. Makoto giggled along with her while Yume just blushed, embarrassed.

''Yu-zu~ What are you talking about with closeness?'' asked Yume, in a sing-song voice but at the same time, there was anger and malice in that sweet tone of voice.

Yuzu noted the anger and malice, and chuckled awkwardly. ''Oh...I meant how cute you are all the time, Yume. Your so adorable that you beat Homura for cuteness. I love anything about you, Yume and I always will.''

Yume frowned, completely embarrassed. She had to think, was she acting like a 'tsundere' character from anime? Like those girls were always hid their feelings behind sharp remarks? ''Yuzu, just be quiet already!'' Yuzu giggled, she did enjoy Yume's tsundere personality which she didn't even seem to be that aware of at all. Yume glared at her, wondering what she had to giggle about. ''Stop laughing at me!''

This only made Yuzu giggle more and say. ''You're such a tsundere.''

Yume frowned, and walked out of the room. ''I'm gone!''

Yuzu sighed, did she go overboard? She didn't think so, but then again tsundere can be quiet sensitive with their feelings. She sighed, as she felt herself being stared at. She looked down at the two children in the room, seeing their worried yet confused eyes. ''It's alright, guys. She'll be back to normal by the morning.''

''You sure?''

''Yeah, I'm very certain. After all, she is my girlfriend.''

Homura smiled. She hugged her 'father', with a giggle. ''I understand, Yuzu-papa.''

Yuzu smiled, nodding. She looked at the TV, thinking about Yume. She definitely went to far there but she knew that Yume would be back to normal by that night. She smiled. ''Homura, Makoto. I'm going upstairs to talk with Yume.''

The children nodded, Yuzu smiled and left the living room, walked up the stairs and into her's and Yume's bedroom. The girl was sat on the bed, somehow finding the pattern amusing. The half-ling walked over to her and asked. ''You alright, Yume? Sorry if I went too far there.''

Yume sighed. ''It's alright, Yuzu. You...did go too far but it was just the embarrassment and your lack of care for it that really pissed me off.''

Yuzu sighed and walked up to her girlfriend, she sat down on the bed and hugged the pink haired girl, which left Yume surprised. ''I understand, Yume. You don't have to be angry anymore.'' She smiled at Yume, before giggling a little. ''But you have to admit, that did prove you were a tsundere.''

''Shut up.'' said Yume, coldly but with a lack of effort in making it a threat.

Yuzu smiled. ''Yep, a tsundere will always be a tsundere'' She giggled, but continued to hug Yume despite the other girl's obvious annoyance, but even if she was annoyed, Yume decided she liked the hug too much to angry with the huger and she slowly started the hug her girlfriend back, leading to a small smile and giggle from Yuzu. ''Your so cute, Yume.''
