3 More Seconds (Vikklan

HEY Y'ALL I AM YOUR WATER PRINCESS AND I AM BACK. This was requested ages ago. I never thought I would do a part two to 3 seconds sooooo yeah. I hope y'all like this!!!

Lachlan awoke to fire sirens. They sounded as if they were screaming in pain as the trucks went down the street. He got out of bed and padded over his soft carpet to his window. He looked out and saw flames licking the sky. The fire was over on Vikk's street, in fact it was really close to Vikk's house.

Lachlan's eyes widen. "MOOOOOOOOOM, I KNOW THAT IT 2:17 IN THE MORNING BUT VIKK'S HOUSE IN ON FIRE," He screamed as he ran out of his house. No shirt, no shoes, no phone. He ran down the street. Behind him, his mom was calling after him, "LACHLAN COME BACK HERE!!!!!!!!!!"

Lachlan ignored his mother and kept running. He dodged cracks, tree roots and other obstacles. He knew the path by heart. Ever since he kissed Vikk, they had become inseparable. Vikk was learning to trust and Lachlan been in more fights trying to protect the boy then ever before. The bullies hadn't stopped, at least not all of them. All the ones that Lachlan beat up had.

He sprinted all the way there. He pushed through a crowd of people and tried ducked under the Firemen's barricade. When they pushed him back, he began yelling for Vikk, "VIKK, VIKK, HONEY."

"Let him in!!!" a women yelled, "He's my son's boyfriend."

"Mrs. Barn!!" Lachlan yelled. He gave her a hug as soon as he got in. "Is Vikky?" he asked carefully.

She gave a shake of her head and a sob. She turned into the awaiting arms of her husband. A small brown haired head peeked around one of the paramedics. "Lachy," said the scared 12 year old.

"Hey Lewis," Lachlan said softly. He put an arm around the trembling boy, "Hey buddy."

"I want Vikky," Lewis whimper in Lachlan's chest, "And I want him to be ok!!"

"I..." Lachlan swallowed hard, he couldn't cry, it would make the Barns struggle even worse if he didn't hold it together. "I know bud. I want him to." He wrapped his arms around Lewis and bit his lip to hold back his tears.

He felt a soft touch on his shoulder. It was his mom. "Here sweetheart," she said holing out his favorite red hoodie and a pair of flip flops. He let go of Lewis long enough to put on the articles of clothing.

Lachlan heard the police chief talking to Mr. and Mrs. Barn. "I'm sorry but if your son doesn't..."

Just then Vikk came running out of the burning house, Lachlan let go to Lewis to run to his lover. He got to the boy just as he began to fall to the ground. Lachlan caught Vikk in his arms.

Vikk's eyes were fluttering closed and paramedics began pulling Vikk away from Lachlan. Vikk gripped Lachlan's shirt. "No, no please," Vikk coughed.

Lachlan allowed his tears to fall, "Shhh baby, they will take care of you."

Vikk reached up and brush the tears away, "Don't leave me. You swore you never would."

"I got you baby. You're going to be fine. I will never let you go," Lachlan bent down and kissed him.

3 seconds was all it took. Vikk believed him. He let the paramedics take and heal him. Lachlan was close behind following.
