-Matrix is a Lightning character on the Path of Nihility. His Skill lets him use his pen to create a a burst of energy above the enemies that crashes down dealing AoE Lightning DMG and applying 'Shadows in Black Ichor' to all enemies. 'Shadows in Black Ichor' reducing enemies Effect Res and making enemies more vulnerable to Follow-Up Attack DMG. Matrix's Ultimate when first used lets him enter the 'Bloodstained Nephilim' state which increases his Crit Rate and DMG as well as the team's Follow-Up Attack DMG. After entering the 'Bloodstained Nephilim' state Matrix's Basic Attack is enhanced to deal AoE Lightning DMG and reduces enemy ATK and DEF and his Skill is removed. While in 'Bloodstained Nephilim' state Matrix's Ultimate changes so that he spreads a pair of black wings he keeps hidden and releases an explosion dealing AoE Lightning DMG and allowing his teammates to release their Follow-Up Attacks immediately and charges their Ultimates. If any teammate doesn't have a Follow-Up Attack, Matrix's Ultimate simply charges their Ultimates. When not in the 'Bloodstained Nephilim' state if a teammate uses a Follow-Up Attack Matrix uses his Follow-Up Attack dealing Bounce Lightning DMG. While in the 'Bloodstained Nephilim' state Matrix's Follow-Up Attack deals AoE Lightning DMG and reduces enemy Effect Res. Matrix's Technique lets him write a line with his pen increasing the team's Crit Rate.
Lore: Matrix comes from a planet that didn't believe in any Aeon or Path ruled by an Empress known as the 'Goddess of Black Ichor' who had a special power that could enhance people in a special way. With that power the Empress could transform anyone into a Nephilim. A creature with black blood, white hair, black veins, black wings, and powers similar to the Empress. These Nephilim became the army of this Pathless planet and Matrix was one of the best soldiers. Using his Nephilim powers to protect the Empress. Refusing to live his own life viewing the Empress as the only person who mattered to him in the cosmos. Until one day Qlipoth struck the planet with THEIR hammer. The planet slowly dying. Matrix and the other Nephilim soldiers trying to get the Empress to safety off the planet. But instead she put Matrix in the escape ship and sent him off. Leaving herself and their planet to die. Giving him one piece of advice 'Get a life my child'. So after landing on a nearby planet Matrix found out about the Trailblaze and became a Pathstrider of it. Finding his way to Planarcadia where he's staying for now but will continue onward with his journey later. Though he's also met the TB. First meeting them on Penacony and saying 'See you when things get Elated' when they parted. Though after the Fluffy started up Matrix got in contact with Nihilux somehow and gave her some constructive criticism that made Nihilux ask Matrix to be her Beta-Reader. Though all this early access to the Fluffy made Matrix start writing fanfic about the Astral Express's adventures. Some of his fanfics including a very specific character that is quite similar to himself.
