"I know your new," Caty replies with a sneaky smile. As my curiosity got the best of me, I can't help but start firing questions at her so fast I started wondering if my mouth was a machine gun in its past life.
"How do you know?Who else knows I'm new?How do you know Luke? Are you dating him?How long have you lived here?"
Caty answers easily with a smile, "People rarely move to this town, let alone our school. So pretty much you and your family have been the talk of the week here in Country Brooke. And, I've been dating Luke since I turned sixteen. I met him in second grade." Caty says as she looks up at Luke and kisses his cheek. As she continues answering my questions, I look over to see Luke looking at Caty with the sweetest smile. Shaking my head at the two of them I tune back into Cary's answers.
"As you already probably figured out, I moved to Country Brooke when I was eight with my mother and started my second grade year. My mom stayed here her whole childhood, and moved to California where she met my Dad."
After saying this, Caty suddenly hardens up. And abruptly says, "We all need to get to our next classes" As she walks away. I turn my confused gaze upon Luke. With a sad smile he says, "I'll see you at lunch" and then hurries to catch up to his girlfriend, and hopefully, my soon to be friend.

As math class ends, I gather my new homework and stuff it into my binder. As I start weaving through the desks towards the exit, I see someone left there phone. This will be my good deed of the week, I decide. Picking it up, I watch as someone leaves the class. With my new found energy, I take of towards the person. As I near the guy, I see that he's the same person I bumped into in the hallway. Just as I reach out to tap his shoulder, he turns around quickly, and looks at me with his trade mark smirk. And so, I then proceed to shake his phone in front of his oh so handsome face.

~Unknown POV~

As I'm walking down the hall towards the lunch room, I suddenly feel her presence. I turn around and meet the eyes of my girl. I can't help but smirk when I meet her green eyes. I knew that she would eventually seek me out. And if she hadn't right now, I would've in the cafeteria. Feeling my wolf purr with agreement I wait for her to talk.
I can't help but stare at her long silky hair. I remember when she bumped into me, how her soft curls seemed to bounce in midair right before I caught her. And how her sparkly green eyes slowly widened when she took in my appearance. Feeling my lips curl to the left with that thought, I almost don't notice how she is waving my phone in front of my face.
I whisk it out of her hand within seconds and tuck it in my pocket. As she starts to turn around I gently grab her hand and tug her towards me. Hearing her gasp in surprise, I can't help but chuckle.
"Thanks Cupcake" I say. She then stares at me curiously as I start walking her towards the cafeteria. Turning my head towards her I ask, "What's your name, love?"
"Heather," she says simply.
She continues to stare at me for a moment before asking, "And what's yours?" Swiftly laying an arm around her shoulder as I push open the wooden double doors that lead to the cafeteria, I say with a smirk,
"Camden Winter"
