Chapter Twenty-Two

Jayden POV

"This?" I ask Keenon showing him a blue play pin. Its been a month since we found out Rocky's having a boy and her baby shower is tomorrow. And we haven't even bought her anything.

"Yeah bae that's nice" Keenon says paying attention to his phone.

"Okay it's $345" his head snaps up to look at me like I'm crazy.

"Now you pay attention huh?"

"I'm sorry foreal but I'm trying to get this track together baby. You know how much this means to me" he says and I nod. Lately he's been working on his music a lot. I respect that but I kinda feel left out.

I decided on getting a car seat and a stroller. I started making my way to the cash register when I felt a dizziness take over me. I quickly ran to the bathroom soon emptying the contents of my dinner from last night into the toilet.

"Are you okay baby?!" Keenon asks holding my hair up. 

"Yeah I think I'm getting sick" I say feeling my head. But it wasn't warm.

"Alright lets get you home so you can rest."

"You can't be in here" I laugh. He was in the girls restroom waiting for me. Once I was finished I walked out and proceeded to buy the car seat and stroller. And we made our way home

I walked up to my door when I heard voices inside.

"No dumb ass" that was Jermain.

"What are yous doing here" I say sucking my teeth opening the door.

"Thank yous for showing up. They were getting annoying" Rocky says from the couch.

"Ayee guys" the boys get up to hug me and dap Keenon up.

"How ya'll been? This lil nasty thing ya'll got goin on" Jerimiah says as him and Jermain start laughing. They knew about us being together. And to everyone's surprise they weren't mad. All they said was for Keenon to treat me right or they would fuck him up. Typical brothers, right?

"We're great thanks for asking" I say sitting down next to Rocky rubbing her stomach. She's so big. And she's due in like 2 months.

"Aye baby me and the boys gon be right back. We just gotta go take care of some business right now" Keenon says coming up to kiss me.

"Be careful" I say. They were all still dealing and I hated it. But what could I do?

"You want one?" I hold up a chocolate cupcake to Rocky and she shakes her head. I shrug eating mine.

"How you feel? You ready for tomorrow?" I ask Rocky.

She nods smiling. But it soon fades and I notice some tears slide down her face.

"I miss him" she says sniffling.

"I know me too" I say hugging her rubbing her back. I went back in the kitchen getting another cupcake.

"Another one? "Rocky asks chuckling wiping her eyes. I roll my eyes at her before sitting back down.

I heard the door open followed by laughter. All the boys came into the living room laughing about things no one knew of except them. I seen Keenon eating something.

"Give me some" I whine to him. His ass bought himself an ice cream cone and not me? Who does that?!

"Bitch, you just ate two cupcakes" Rocky says.

"Yeah bitch you got a problem. I'm a fat ass and what?!"

"You know bae she right you have been eating a lot la-" he stops when he's sees me mugging him.

"So what you wanna break up cuz I'm eating a lot or what?" I say snatching his ice cream out his hand.

"And them hormones sis you needa calm down. Keenon you been dickin her down right?" Jerimiah asks.

"Hell yeah every night she be like DAD- Ow" he says rubbing the back of his head where I smacked him

"Anyone else wanna talk some shit?" I say lookin around the living room

"You on you period or what?" Jermain asks .

"What?!" I ask shocked. I looked around as everyone looked confused.

"What's today?!" I say feeling a lump in my throat making it hard for me to swallow.

"The 29th?" Keenon says as more of a question than a statement.

I'm 3 weeks late.

I ran out the house with Rocky quickly following. We get in my car driving to walgreens down the street.

Lord please don't let it be true.
