Chapter Twenty-Nine

Jayden POV

"Push! One more time Push!" The doctor yells. I hear a wailing cry shortly follow. "It's a baby boy!" The doctor says which causes the hospital room to erupt in cheers. It was such a beautiful thing to witness. My mom, Rocky's mom Tiffany , and I were the only ones in the room while she gave birth.

"Congratulations love! He's here and he's beautiful!" I say wiping my tears kissing her cheek.

Tiff cuts the umbilical cord and the nurses take Jr. to clean him up. Rocky weakly smiles and sheds a few tears as her breaths start slowing down.

"She's not breathing!" One of the nurses yell. All head snap to look at Roc and I see all the color drain from her  face. She looked as if she had just seen a ghost. Tears fill my eyes instantly.

"What's going on?!" We all begin to question the doctors. I stand back as i watch the nurses run around the room. Seeing Rocky's lifeless body.

"She's losing too much blood. This could be fatal" A female nurse says frantically.

No this can not be fucking happening what the fuck. Tiffany begins sobbing trying to make her way to Roc but the doctors hold her back.

"Mrs. Rayes I'm going to need you all to wait outside" A different nurse says sympathetically .

"Wait what about the baby?" My mom asks.

"The baby is perfectly fine and healthy. We are going to put him in the NICU . We will let you know when it is safe to visit him." She says.

"Is she going to be okay?" Tiff asks desperately. "We're going to do everything we can." She says. It took a lot for us to leave but we finally did. My mom and I held her as we walked out the room.

We made our way to the waiting room where everyone was waiting. Jermaine, Jerimiah, Ace, Slim, Keenon, Momma Shonee ,even Justina was there. They were all laughing and joking around until Keenon spotted me. He quickly got up and made his way to me. They noticed the tears in our eyes and suddenly the whole mood of the room changed.

"Momma what's wrong ? what happened?!" Ace says nervously.

"Where's Roc and Jr.?" Jerimiah asks just as concerned.

"She lost a lot of blood during the birth . They said they're doing everything they can." I said wiping away my tears.

"Hell Nah man! What the fuck!?" Ace says punching the wall creating a tennis ball size hole in the wall.

"Antwan Rayes if you don't act like you have some damn sense! Your sister needs us to be positive and support her. NOT to be acting a damn fool."

"Sorry Momma this is unfair. What about Jr. where is he ? Is he okay? " Ace says with his voice cracking. I go give him a hug.

"Jr. is fine the doctors have him in the NICU for right now till they figure out something with Rocky. It's gonna be okay bro she's gonna be fine" I say wiping a stray tear off his face. All the boys go up to him and hug him.

"What my baby needs right now is the Lord. Let us pray" Tiffany says weakly as we gather in a circle holding hands.

"Dear Heavenly Father..."

A/N: OMFG ! I'm sorry 😐 I Missed you guys so much 😭 I forgot all about wattpad for a minute but im back and I'ma start updating more regularly. Maybe every 3 days or so. I know this chapter wasn't that great but y'all know i had to throw some kinda drama in here for my first chapter back 🙄 I'm gonna be updating the next one very soon!
