Lois POV
'She is now stable, but we are going to run some more tests.'
'Oh my God. For how long does she have to be in here?'
'At least a week...Look, I don't want you to worry Lois. They're just some tests, so we can find the cause of all, this.' Dr Tom said.
Tom is the family doctor. He and Marcus studied together at university of Boston and it happens to be my brother, too.
'Yes, ok. You're right.'
'When is Marcus coming?'
'At 5, he's flight was delayed.'
'Ok, you can go check on her, but not for too long.'
'Okay thanks.'
I walk into the room and I see Kiera there, lying on the white - sheeted bed reading a Teen Vogue magazine that Nora had left for her. She looks so peaceful and I'm trying really hard not to let the tears roll down my cheeks.
'Oh my God. I'm dying, aren't I?!'
'For God's sake Kiera, no!'
'Then, why is my 'Oh so powerful mother crying?'
'I'm not crying-'
'Yeah yeah, you have something in your eye.'
'I'm not loving the new attitude, missy.'
'Haha com'on, you have to admit that was funny.'
'Ok,yes it was. Anyways, how are you feeling darling?'
'Weird. First of all I don't feel my left leg and I think I'm kind of high from the drugs.'
'Drugs?! What drugs?! Who gave you drugs?!'Kiera's POV
'The nurse, Jesus mum, chill. Not that kind of drugs!' Typical mom, I'm currently in a hospital for unknown reasons and she, of course, thinks I'm on heroine.
'Right. Sorry honey.'
'All good, so should we start packing?'
'Kiera baby, we're not leaving today.'
'Oh cool, tomorrow then?' Must be tomorrow, I mean I just fell on the ground and hurt my knee. Nothing biggie.
'Actually, you're going to go through some more tests because they don't know what's wrong with you.' Wow that's a first.
'What do you mean they don't know what's wrong with me. There's absolutely nothing wrong with me! I just fell on the freaking school's floor and hit my knee! It didn't even bleed much!
What's happening?
'Look Kiera you're in denial. I know there is nothing wrong with you, but the doctors want to be sure, so you're staying here for the week. I'll just go grab some clothes for you and I'll be right back.'
'Okay.' Wait did she say WEEK?
'Wait, what do you mean for a week? What about school?'
'I will contact the school as soon as I go home. For now, I need you to relax, everything will be ok.' She says as she kisses my forehead.
'You're probably right.' Right?
'I'll be back in 10' and oh Taylor and Ashley are on their way with Nora and your father is landing on 5 pm.' Dad. Oh thank God he's coming.
'Okay bye!' I wave at her as she closes the door, leaving me alone.
Great, now I have to pee.▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪▪
