**The Next Day**

Cato’s PoV

I slip my sword back in its case and open my cupboard. I scan through my different suits and there wasn’t really a variety. I pick the all black suit with a grey shirt; I leave a few buttons undone and style my hair so it sticks up. I grab my black and gold mask off my table and place it on my head so it covers my eyes. I look at myself in the mirror; I looked nothing like me, this would make a great disguise actually. I hear a vibration on the table from my phone; it was a message from Ambrosia, saying she was at my door. I roll my eyes and walk quickly downstairs.

“See you later Mum.” I wave and smile.

“Don’t come home too late.” She yells as I walk out the door.

“Hey baby!” Ambrosia says in a girly accent. Ugh, how can I put up with this for a whole night?

“Hey Ambrosia.” I reply neutrally.

“Come on! Let’s go!” She unlocks her car and I take the driver’s seat. I rev up the engine and zoom off.

“Baby, you don’t mind if I stay with my friends during this party?” She asks.

“Nope. I don’t mind at all.” I smile gratefully.

I arrive at the venue, a giant building with loud pop music bursting out of it. Jasmina’s dad was the richest in District Two, because they originally lived in District One. Ambrosia jumps out of the car and runs inside. I lock the car and stuff the keys into my jacket’s pocket. A bunch of other people from my school arrives and rushes inside. I walk to the door and the music blares out a lot louder as I walk in. You would never find anyone in here; you wouldn’t be able to tell who they are because of the masks. I push through the crowd hoping I would find someone I could recognize. Nope, no one at all. It was helpful that I was tall so I could see everyone by standing in one spot. I keep moving without paying attention and my head standing out from the top of the crowd.

I accidentally walk right into someone; it was a really short girl with long dark brown hair tied in a low ponytail with a bow. She wore a peach dress and a matching masquerade mask. (Outfit on the side>>>) I found her really pretty and sweet looking. I didn’t know who she was though and she probably didn’t know me.

“A bit clumsy tonight?” She jokes and laughs. I look at the ground and realise I made her spill her drink.

“Think so. How about I get you another drink?” I flirt shamelessly.

“It’s the least you can do.” She smiles sweetly. I walk her to a table where all the drinks where and pour her a cup of soda.

“Thanks.” She takes the drink and gulps it all down. She puts the cup back down. A different song starts playing and she her smile grew bigger.

“I’ll just go now.” I mumble.

“No! I have no one else to dance with! Its my favourite song, c’mon!” She yells excitedly and grabs my arm. I face her and start moving my body to the beat of the song. I hear laughter coming from her that sounded familiar but I don’t know why. Someone bumps into from behind me and I crash into her again.

“Sorry.” I mumble and the song ends.

Clove’s PoV

I didn’t know I could feel like this ever since Cato left me. This guy was so dreamy even if I don’t know his name. I ought to ask him later. The Only Exception by Paramore starts playing coincidentally matching all my feelings at the moment. He gives me a cute smile and puts his hands on my waist. I wrap my arms around his neck; thank god for these high heels. We sway side to side gracefully and as the bridge ends we lean in together. I notice his eye colour, it was Cato! The same electric blue eyes and sandy blond hair. I let a gasp slip out and he looks at me weirdly.
