"COME ON, MITCH! YOU'VE BEEN PLAYING WITH YOUR HAIR FOR THE LAST 20 MINUTES! LETS GO!" Scott screamed at Mitch. The smaller boy turned the corner, still trying to fix his hair.

"This one piece, I can't." Scott chuckled a bit before heading out the door, dragging Mitch along. They walked in an awkward silence until Mitch broke it. "So, what you were saying earlier..." half of Mitch asked to make the taller boy uncomfortable, the other half was actually curious.

All of the sudden, to Scott, his nails became the most interesting thing in the world. "What was I saying earlier?" He said as he scraped the top of his index finger.

"Good try, but you know exa-" he was cut off by a way too excited Scott.

"We're here!" Good save. The house was already booming from the music and the other Patron. "Just so you know, the hostess' name is Tay. We are in the same battle group." He explained as they walked in. Once they were in the house a thought crossed Scott's mind. He pushed Mitch to the side and put his mouth close to his ear. "People can't know my name. You call me Hoy. Alright?" He had to whisper-yell so Mitch could hear him over the booming music. Mitch nodded And Scott walked away. Mitch followed.

A few minutes later they bumped into Tay. Oh, this is going to be awkward. "Hey, Hoy! You came! I thought you wouldn't because of what happened a few days ago!" She yelled. Scott could smell the alcohol on her breath.

"Yeah, well, We had nothing better to do. And I need to loosen Rezmence over here up a little." He said, making sure that Mitch could hear him.

Tay walked over to the brunette, pushing Scott out of the way. A grin pulled at his lips because he knew what was about to happen. "You are cute! You're the Rezmence, right? Do you have a girlfriend?" She said as she roughed up his hair.

Scott watched, giggling as mitch stood uncomfortable. "I am the Rezmence, yes. But no, I don't have a girlfriend!" Mitch finger combed his hair, acting shy. Tay ran her fingers along his jawline and stopped under his chin and leaned in. Scott had to lean on the wall, he was laughing so hard. Mitch backed away and shot Scott a look that begged for help. Scott stood up and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Mitch is off limits. Sorry." He said, making Tay stop. The blond gestured his head for Mitch to stand beside him. The other happily obliged. "Well, we best be off. Catch you later." At that they walked off into the biggest room. Scott recognized a few people, but not many. There was a table at the side of the room, on it were red plastic cups. This is going to be fun. He had to look back to see if the Rezmence was still there, but he was lost in the crowd. He was so small he could get lost so easily.

"He's right here." Scott turned at the sound of the familiar  voice. Alex. He was walking, looking back every couple seconds, until he reached Hoy. "Here's Grey pants." Mitch made a face at the name. Alex pushed the smaller boy towards Scott. He couldn't help but chuckle.

"Thanks Alex. Care to join us? I was just about to give him a red cup." Scott said with a grin, still trying to speak over the music. A smile creeped onto Alex's face  but he declined the offer. All the while, Mitch just looked completely confused. Scott reached over and grabbed a cup, handed it to Mitch And grabbed another for himself. Scott brought the cup to his lips, showing the other that it was drinkable. Mitch followed suit.

His face cringed at the burn in his throat. Scott raised his eyebrows at him and Mitch finished the drink and grabbed another. Mitch gave a smirk to show that he wasn't fazed. Scott made an impressed face and nodded, finishing his drink and grabbing another. Scott started to walk away when he felt two arms cling onto his own.  He looked down to see Mitch looking around frantically. He probably doesn't want to get lost again. "You okay there?"  He said, drawing Mitch's attention up to his face.

"Yeah, I'm good. Just a little dizzy."  Got had to admit, he was feeling a bit tipsy too. Scott finished the rest of his drink and felt his face get warm. Mitch did the same. They set their cups down to free their hands.

"You know how to dance?"  Scott posed.

"Not at all." Mitch stood stiff in the middle of where everyone else was dancing. Scott had a cocky grin on his face.

"Let me teach you." Scott's mind was fogged already.  "First I need more to drink." A wicked grin spread across both of their faces. "Stay here." Scott commanded before he made his way to the table. Hoy grabbed two drinks and made his way back to where he left Mitch. He wasn't there anymore. Scott sighed in frustration. He felt a tug on his pant leg. Sure enough, Mitch was on the ground. Scott knelt down beside him. "What are you doing on the ground?"

     "I fell down."

"Could you not get up?" Mitch shrugged and stood up. Scott stood with him. "Mabey you shouldn't have this."

"Noooo. I want it. Please?" Mitch looked up with innocent eyes and popped out his bottom lip. Hoy almost gave in, but he quickly said no and drank them both. "You're mean." The brunette whined.

"Yeah, well-" Scott stopped when he heard his favourite song come on. Who's going to save the world tonight? Who's going to bring you back to life? We're going to make it you and I. We're  going to save the world tonight. There was a time, I used to look into my father's eyes. "Come, come. Time to dance." He grabbed the smaller boy's hands and pulled him into the middle of the room, where everyone else was dancing. "Alright, sway your hips, jump up and down and just let your body move." Scott demonstrated and Mitch followed suit. They were dancing until midnight.

"We should get you home." Scott had to carry Mitch out on his shoulder. Mitch started kicking and punch, not hard enough to do damage, but enough to get Hoy's attention.

"Sco---oy," Mitch giggled at his almost screw up. "I don't wanna go!"

"If you don't go soon, you are going to pass out somewhere."

"Oh... hoy?" He stopped struggling. The blond set the other down.

     "Yeah?"

"I have a headache. It hurts."

"I bet you do. Tomorrow is going to be a bitch."

Mitch gasped loudly. "You said a bad word! Will you carry me?"

"No, good try though." Mitch's body went limp. His breath evened out. He laced down on the ground in the middle of the hallway. He was pretending to sleep.

"Are you kidding me? You're sleeping?" Scott huffed.

"Mmhmm." He replied, not opening his eyes.

"I have never carried anyone as much as I carry you, jeez." Scott complained as he scooped up Mitch. Mitch opened one eye, giggled, and shut it again. "What?" Mitch put his hand on his face.

"You're pretty." He brought his hand back down and curled up to his chest. Scott just looked down at him. Stunned.

When they reached home, Scott found himself carrying the boy up the stairs... again. He set Mitch in his bed because the makeshift bed was farther away. He pushed they stray hairs on Mitch's sleeping face back into place. His face contorted and he sucked in a sharp breath. His hands shot to Scott, nailed digging into his skin. Bad dream. "All of my life been running. Paying the price for living." He whispered, causing the brunette to loosen his grip and relax. Scott found himself staring at his lips. He's sleeping, try it. Scott checked his eyes one more time before leaning down. His lips fit in the other's. It was brilliant. "I think I like you Mitchie."
