When the three of us got back to Patron headquarters, Mitch was awake and standing, Kirstin was taking in the new view, and I was thinking. We were standing in the main hall, people rushing around us, barely noticing that we're here.
"Guys, let's go back to my house. So we are not in the way of everybody else and we can talk in private." Mitch nodded, Kirstin hadn't shown any signs of realizing that I had said anything. She was still taking in the view of her new surroundings. Mitch grabbed her hand and started pulling her along behind me.
A few hallways later, we were in my living room. "If Kirstin's going to fit in as a Patron, she needs to look the part. Do everything you did to me months ago, to her." Mitch voiced.
"She needs a nickname. How about, Kirst? Or mabey, Kirstie? Fastest thing that I could come up with. You like it?"
"Yeah, it's cute. Thanks. Now let's talk clothes. I've never worn black before, but I'm liking it." The small blond said while checking herself out. Mitch giggled.
"I think I only have one small jumpsuit left. The other ones I gave to Mitch. We can go shopping later." Her face lit up at the idea of shopping at a new store. I ran upstairs and grabbed my smallest jumper and brought it down. "Here. Go try it on. There is a bathroom down the hall and to your left." When she ran away, Mitch and I were left alone. I decided against talking about what he had said earlier today. "How's your shoulder?"
"It hurts like hell, thanks for asking." He said with a hint of pain in his voice. "So, where is Kirstie going to stay?" I hadn't even thought about that.
"She could stay with you. You two were friends a while back, right? I'd offer for her to stay with me but I don't know her and I've seen that girl fight." I suggested.
Mitch's expression dropped. "No offence to her or anything, but those aren't my favourite memories and I haven't seen her in months. She could be a whole new person, I know I am, we are just like strangers again." His expression changed again.

Idea!
"Well, she could stay in my house and I could stay with you." I said, looking down. "You know, just until we figure some things out."
I saw him cover up a smile with a cough. "Yeah, that could work." I looked up at him to be met with his deep ocean blue eyes. I found myself as lost as I was when I saw them for the first time.

He lifted his head and our eyes locked. I found myself remembering all of my favourite times we had. The first time he tripped me, our gluten free pizza, tickling him. All of it was there, in his deep chocolate brown eyes.
P.O.V. Kirstie
This is so cute. It fits and everything. I wanna show them. I walked down the hallway and back to the entrance to the living room.
"Guys I-" I stopped speaking when I looked up to see the two staring at each other, practically drooling. They are perfect for each other. I coughed once, to let them know I was here. Their eyes shot to me. I gave Hoy a knowing grin then walked over to sit on the couch.

"So, Kirstie, we decided that you are going to stay in my house. I will stay here. We will come and check on you everyday until you don't want us to anymore. Deal?" I said. I could feel the blush invading my cheeks. I looked down to my shoes.
"Alright, that works I suppose." After a beat of a pause, she spoke again. "Mitchell, can I speak to you a moment?" She looked over at an oblivious Scott. "Alone?"
Scott seemed to clue in then. "Oh. Right, sorry. I'll just be in my room." He headed up the stairs taking two at a time. When I was sure he was gone, I looked to Kirstie, who started again.
"So... you and Blondie? I ship it. You two were like drooling over each other. How long has it been a thing?" She asked, raising a suggestive eyebrow.
"Well, Kirstin, I'll have you know that there isn't a thing. This is yhe first time he's talked, or even looked at me, in weeks." I replied with sass. She seemed emotionless for about two seconds, until she tackled me to the couch, pinning me under her. I couldn't move. I tried to scream, but that was no good either. I just had to wait it out and see what she was up to.
She looked at me expectingly. "You done? Good. HOY!" He came running down the stairs, only when he saw me pinned under my ex-roommate did he start to walk slowly. Confusion painted all over his face. He's probably just as confused as I am. "Sit down, no questions, no lying. If you do lie, you know I can take you both down. I'm doing this for your guys' own good." Scott quickly obeyed. "Perfect. Alright let's get started. I have Mitch pinned because he would try to get away. That was probably a question on your mind, so I got it out of the way. Now, Mitch, do you like Hoy?"
She lifted her hand so that I could speak. "No, I don't. Why are we-"
"Don't. Lie. I can knock you out and you both know it. If either of you lie again, I'll knock the other out, got it? I'm doing this for your own good. Now, do you like Hoy?"
"Yes, okay? Fine." I said, keeping my eye contact away from everyone else. She smiled contently over to Scott.
"How about you, hoy? Do you like Mitch?" She questioned. When did she get so strong and scary?
"Mabey just a little." She raised her hand at me, I braced for impact, but I was saved by Scott continuing. "No, no, no. A lot. I like him a lot." I blushed profoundly at that statement. Kirstie climbed off of me.
"Care to take me to Mitch's house?" She asked, smile present in her voice. We both nodded, but we still hadn't looked at each other.
The walk there was mostly silent. When we got to my house, I started gathering a few of my things. When I was satisfied with the stuff that I had, I headed out the door, waiting on the porch to say goodbye to my Rezmence friend. Scott was standing beside me, we were both looking at the door. When Kirstie came, she looked between us and shook her head. She walked up behind me and pushed me. Right before I hit the ground, Scott caught me at I was met by his bright blue eyes.
"There. Much better. You see?" Kirstie said looking up and Scott. "He looks a lot cuter when he's in your arms." A small smile played at her lips. Scott and I shared awkward smiles before saying goodbye to my friend.
We walked back home, hand in hand. It was inevitable, I fell in love with him.
