Scott was going over everything that had happened over the course of the day.

First, Mitch was singing in the shower. He has a beautiful voice. Second, we had coffee. It turns out he loves coffee. Third, he doesn't know how to fight. But can dodge and run like nobody's business. Fourth, he threw up. Nasty, but even when he's sick he's cute. Fifth, he is ticklish. He has the best, brightest smile. Finally, he is terrified of being hurt, so he paces the floor. Which is adorable. Woah, what? Hold that though. I have a crush on Mitch? No. Just no. A few days ago, I wanted him dead. So it can't be a crush. It's NOT a crush.

The blond tried to suppress the thoughts by trying to get to sleep, but his mind wasn't having any of that. He was making small movements as to not wake the smaller. He turned his head to look at the red blinking light. It read 12:58 a.m. When Scott finally gave up on the idea of sleeping, he walked downstairs and sat on the couch.

What are we going to do tomorrow? Scott thought to himself. In the morning, we'll get some training in. After that, we can go to Alex's house to the party. I could use some alcohol. I would like to see the uptight  Rez pants when he gets buzzed too. With that thought, Scott gave a little chuckle and decided to give sleep another shot. This time it worked.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scott felt a hand to his shoulder. With panic, He grabbed the hand, pulled it to the couch and sat on top of the person.

"Mitch? What the hell?" Scott said as he dismounted the boy. Pulling him up off of the couch.

"I-uh- I-I. It's like 10 o'clock and I thought you would want to be awake. S-sorry." He was clearly disoriented by the quick response.

     "You okay?"

     "Yes."

"Sorry. Your dressed already? That was fast. Ready to go?"

"Yeah, I'm ready to go whenever you are." Mitch said regaining his former confidence back. Scott ran up the stairs and into his room. He noticed that the bed was already neatly made. The tall boy pull out his last clean black suit and slipped into it. He ran back down the stairs, grabbed Mitch's wrist and pulled his along.

When they got to the fighting mat, Scott noticed Mitch's attitude change from confident to the exact opposite. "You okay, you seem off."

"I'm fine. Can we just get this over with?" The blonde was surprised by his tone, but brushed it off. They got into position and Mitch was down within the first 20 seconds. He barely tried. Something's up.

Half of his head was saying "ask him again." The other half was saying "it's not your business, he would have told you if he wanted you to know." So the tall blond took the side of not asking. It seemed right. Round after round, Mitch just kept getting knocked down. Until, it seemed, he had enough. His face turned from calm to outright furious. The round started again but this time, instead of just standing there, Mitch rushed to the other side of Scott. Before Scott could turn around and process what was happening, the small brunette had foot locked around both of the other's and he used all of his might to just push him down.

Once Scott was flat on his stomach, Mitch took off running. He turned the corner and out the door. What just happend? It took him a second to get up, but once he did he ran after the other at a speed he never thought obtainable by himself. Dodging the other people that had confused looks plastered on their faces. He caught up to Mitch and tackled him to the ground. He climbed on top of him and pinned his hands down. Scott waited until the dark haired boy stopped struggling before he decided to speak. "First of all, you should know that that was amazing. Second, what is up with you?"

"LET ME GO!" Mitch said deciding to struggle again. Scott didn't budge.

"You can tell me or we can sit here, in the middle of the hallway. With all of these people looking at us. It's your choice." Scott said acting like he didn't care either way but was really uncomfortable under all of the stares.

"LET ME GO, ASSHOLE! I'D RATHER BE KILLED THAN BE ANYWHERE NEAR YOU RIGHT NOW!" Mitch screamed, catching the attention of a few more Patron. Scott held his blank expression but was really hurt by Mitch's comment. He lifted his gaze from the squirming boy to meet his eyes with Alex. That's when a thought came to his mind. He tilted his head to gesture for the guard to come over.

"Very well. Have it your way. I have warned you before, I wasn't joking around when I said I would get you killed." Mitch's expression changed. He didn't seem to be able to speak. Alex had finally made it over to the two. "Hey Alex." Scott said as he got off of Mitch and pulled him up by his arm and handing him over to the other blond. "Here, can you take him? He's being difficult and I left my gun at home."

"Of course. I should probably take him to the outside though. It might get messy." Alex said while pulling out his gun. Alex winked, telling Scott that he knew exactly what he was doing.

"Alright. Bye Mitch. I'm going to go have a nap. Can you tell me when you're done, Alex?" He said as he started slowly walking down the hall, the opposite direction the guard was walking. He took one last glare at Mitch. The look on his face was pure terror. His mouth was open like he was trying to say something but couldn't. Scott wanted to call it off but couldn't. He needs to know his place.

"Sure thing Hoy." Alex said with a cocky smirk. With one hand he was pulling Mitch who now had tears in his eyes and in the other he still had his gun. He started slowly walking away too.

"WAIT, SC-HOY! W-WAIT! NO! IM SORRY, IM SORRY! OKAY, I'LL TELL! PLEASE, I'LL TELL!" Mitch was in a panic. Alex looked up for permission. I nodded and he let go. The boy collapsed to the ground. Everyone in the hall had stopped and was staring. Scott waved them off and they went back about their business. He walked up carefully to Mitch, who was just bawling on the ground. He mouthed a quick 'thanks' to the guard and held his hand out for Mitch to take.

"If you wanna leave, you better take my hand now or I'll just give you back to my friend here." Mitch looked up with swollen, red lined eyes and put his shaking hand into Scott's. He pulled the smaller up, but he just fell back down. "Here we go again." Hoy said as he picked up the crying boy, carrying him bridal style through the halls. Mitch's tears absorbing into his upper suit.

"You dick. I hate you. You're  such a dick." The smaller boy was muttering in a high pitched, hoarse voice. They arrived at the house and Scott brought the still shaking brunette up the stairs and into the bathroom. He set him on the floor by the bathtub and turned on a warm shower. He leaned Mitch's head over the edge and brought the shower head down over his hair. Mitch's whimpers lessened and his breathing evened out. Scott dried the other's hair and tried to stand him up. Still collapsed.

"Hey, I'm sorry." There was a silence. The smaller was just staring into nothing. He wasn't answering. Just trying to hold back tears. So they sat on the bathroom floor together. Until Scott reached over and brought Mitch into his lap. Enveloping him in a hug. Sing. "All of my life been runnin', paying the price for livin'. How do the young survive, we're never satisfied. Only if I could listen." Mitch sat up and brought his deep brown eyes up to meet with his own. He decided to keep going. "When the lights go down in the middle of the night, where will I run to? When the lights go down in the middle of the night, where will I hide?" Mitch hugged back into the crook of Scott's neck and started to hum along. As the song came to an end, Scott voiced his thoughts. "You gonna tell me what's wrong?"

The other was quite for a second, then he looked at his hands. "Do you care about me? Do you think I am nothing? Better off dead?" Scott tilted Mitch's chin up so their eyes met.

"I don't know who told you that. But don't believe it for a second. I really like you and-" Scott stopped realizing what he just said.  His eyes got big and Mitch's eyebrows shot up. "I mean- I -sure your cute and all." Mitch started choking on air at this point. Scott has turned a bright red at this point. "I am, yeah, I'm gonna just go now. We are going to a party later. So, uh, get ready." And Scott left Mitch there sitting  on the bathroom floor. He thought about what had just happend so far today. A goofy smile crawled across his face.
