My hiding spot was magnificent, no one will find me.
Not Sonja, not Tom.
"Oh no! She's hiding!" Sonja says, faking her anger. I pull out my Go Pro from my pocket, I hold it in front of me.
I plan to scare them.
"Hey guys" I whisper to the Go Pro.
"I'm hiding from Tom and Sonja at the mom-" footsteps walked straight passed me, I held my breath.
"Now where is my girlfriend?"
I freeze shuffling the Go Pro.
"Aww, what a cute term for you guys" Tom laughs
"A cute term for someone I love"
"Did you ever call Kate that?" I heard the bed squeak, properly someone sitting down.
"You can't keep running away from that problem Tom, we all know what happened" I heard Sonja's pitch get higher. I couldn't stand a fight between these two so I decided to sneak out and go comfort them. I poked my head out, turning off the Go Pro, Sonja and Tom were sitting side by side.
I open the door a little bit more, unlucky for me, the door squeaked. Making them both turn to face me.
"Surprise..." I say a bit half heartedly, shoving the Go Pro into my pocket.
Tom stands up, rubbing his red eyes and walked over to me. He didn't say anything, just pulled me in for a hug, like he was holding me for dear life.
"You will never fully understand how happy I am that you said yes"
