"How much did this all cost Sonja?" Erin whispers as she pulls out her emerald dress. Erins and I's dress had a similar pattern, they both ended just over the knees. After the waist, it turned out like a skirt, swaying whenever we turned.
"My gift to you" she empties out her own bag, picking up her dress, necklace, earring and make-up "i'll get changed in the bathroom, will you two be alright to get changed in here?" we both nod, emptying the contents of our bags onto my bed.
"Are we on good terms Paige?" we change out of our clothes and I slip my dress over my head.
"I think we are, what do you think Erin?" as she zips up my dress, I zip up hers.
"I think so" she smiles, I grab my heels, necklace and whatever other jewellery Sonja brought me. Just then Sonja walked out of the bathroom, her makeup done wonderfully and her dark blue dress shimmered in the light.
"I knew the dresses would suit you" she smiles "now you two can use the bathroom" I slipped on my heels and walked towards the bathroom, Erin walking behind me.
I dump my makeup and the accessories on the left hand side of the sink, Erin taking to right. She tightens up her rainbow belt that matches her rainbow streak in her hair. She pulls out the curler and I pull out the straightener.
We were done ten minutes later, well, I was.
I applied my makeup and sighed, makeup just hides your true self. I swap out my earring for some lilac dangles and tried to put on a chain that was my necklace that Sonja wanted me to wear.
"Do you want me to clip that on for you?" she turns off the curler, putting it down and picking up the necklace that I was meant to wear.
"I don't want to put it on" she puts the necklace down and carries on with her curling.
"Why not?"
"I've worn my Mianite necklace ever since I got it" she nods and finishes up her hair. I play with the bracelet around my wrist that Sonja also brought me.
"You know you don't have to wait for me, go out and see Tom" I smiled, I heard something about the fact that the boys also had to dress up fancy.
"You sure?"
"Yes I'm sure, now get out!" I ran out of the room, her laugh causing me to smile.
