'We're out of water and food. We're doomed.' Scrum muttered, lying on the deck, weakly holding a flask in his left hand. We've been sailing for 2 weeks. Or at least I thought it was 2 weeks by the smell of the crew in the hot sun. One by one, the sailors were slowly drying out. One even just died from heatstroke.
'We need to get rid of the body,' Barbossa said, looking at the dead pirate. I raised an eyebrow.
'How do we do that?' I asked.
'Like this.'
Barbossa took the body in his hands and threw the man overboard with one splash of the water, the man was gone. I made the cross sign and prayed for the man's soul. At least if he isn't buried properly, God would still have mercy.
'Captain! I see land! I see land!' Lucas yelled, holding a telescope. I climbed up deck and took the telescope from his hands. It was true. It seemed like a town of sorts from afar. We could dock there.
'Aye Captain. There's land. We can get supplies.' I said. Barbossa nodded.
'Very well. All hands on decks lads! We dock on that island!'
Few hours later, we docked and made our way out. It was weird feeling land again. It seemed.... hard, sturdy. I was used to the rocking of the ocean, but not this. My head began to swirl, a slight churn was felt in my stomach, Lucas must have sensed it as he held on to me.
'Easy,' he muttered, as I fell back slightly. I staggered towards the water and vomited. Lucas held my hair up to keep the sick from getting there. He wrinkled his nose at the smell.
'Yikes. What do you eat?!' He asked after I was done.
'Seawater, fish, rum. That's it' I replied. 'Why?'
'That explains everything,' he answered simply, walking downtown.
I was about to snap back when suddenly, Scrum walked towards us.
'Why don't you two go out to the pub and get old Scrum some rum eh? Found meself a pretty lady. Can't leave her waiting. Oh coming dear!'
Scrum passed us a hip flask before dashing over to a lady with a massive hairdo and large bosom. I rolled my eyes.
'Men.' I sighed. Lucas raised an eyebrow.
'What's that suppose to mean?'
'It means that the only thing you care about a woman is how she looks than what's in her bloody head.'
"Hey, that ain't true! Some men look beyond that!" Lucas protested. I rolled my eyes.
"Sheesh lad, if you're talking about yourself, then I strongly suggest you look in the mirror again." I replied jokingly. Lucas pouted.
"Don't be mean to me. What did I do to you?"
I laughed in response.
"Okay okay. Now we better get Scrum some run before we head-"
BANG!!!
That was when we heard screaming and the sound of gunfire in the distance.
"What in the name of Calypso was that?" I asked. Lucas shook his head.
"Shot-pint"
"Aah... Crud" I said shaking my head. Shot-pint was one of the cabin crew and like his name, his favourite pastime is to drink and shoot randomly. When he was drunk, well it was worse. He nearly killed Barbossa once.
'Keep your pistol where it belongs lad, before I take it and shoot you where it hurts' Barbossa threatened, hook inches away from Half-pint's head after the incident a month ago.
"If he causes too large of a brawl, it might lead the soldiers to us." I said, racing downtown, Lucas right in front of me.
'Yeh, so we better hurry'
