Robbie's POV

Evening turned to night and soon, everyone was either in their hammocks and talking bull below deck. I went up to the mast where I saw Allegra practicing her swordplay.

'You're early.' I noted, walking towards her. She smiled.

'Well, got to warm up, right? You ready?' She asked. I nodded.

'Good. Lets spar.'

Working on coordination began. We began with footing.

'Right foot in, hand out, thrust and go. Hear?' She asked after half an hour.

'Yep.' I answered.

'So, show me what you got. I could use new moves.' She said, hand on her hip and looking at me.

'Uh alright. First off..'

We sparred for another hour. Finally, I circled her sword and caused her to fall on the ground, me on top of her. I couldn't help but look at her chest area. There were two bumps bulging out and well, it seemed nice.

'We need to stop ending up like this.' She said frankly. I smiled.

'Really? I kinda enjoy it.' I replied, raising an eyebrow and smirking.

'Oh, get off' she said, pushing me. I laughed.

'Ok, fine sorry. Anyway, can I ask? Why did you really want to join the crew? Besudes your brother being recruited.'

She tensed a bit and bit her lip, so I could tell this wasn't a topic she liked to share. But finally, she let out a sigh.

'5 years ago, my father's curse was supposed to be broken. When you are a captain of the Flying Dutchman, you spend ten years at sea, ferrying dead souls to the other side of the world. Before you immdiately set sail, you can spend one day on shore with the person you love. That was my mother. After he left, she gave birth to Will and I. 10 years later, his curse was broken beacause my mother remained faithful to him. For the first 4 years, he stayed with us and we owned an inn. Then a year ago, something happened. I don't what it was but my father had to leave for sea. My mother went with him and left us under the care of a baker we knew. He was good to us. They said they'll be back. But they never did. Will and I couldn't wait any longer. So when we heard the Queen's Anne Revenge had docked, we joined the crew and here I am.'

We stood in silence, not knowing what to say.

'Wow,' I finally said, scratching my neck. 'Must've been hard on you.'

'That's why I've got to find them. See if they're alive. And if they're dead, I'll be able to have some peace and not spend the rest of my life wondering where are they.'

'You'll find them.' I said. She looked at me and gave me one of her angelic smiles.

'Thanks. Well, it's getting late. Good night.'

'Good night'

That night, I lied awake in my hammock, wondering what would be like to be with her..
