Chapter 18: Kidnapped?

*Kim's P.O.V*

"Bye mum!" I yelled back into the house before I closed the door behind me. I stood on the edge of my porch and scanned the perimeter. No Ash Lee in sight, well thank god for that! A smile grew across my face and I inhaled the fresh spring air as I took a step forward and began to walk to school. I'd only gotten as far as my gate when I was suddenly attacked by Ash Lee who was apparently hidden behind my fence waiting for me this whole time. This boys has persistence I'm telling you now.

"God morning Kimberly~" Ash Lee sung as he greeted me with his perfectly straight teeth. His use of my full name made me shiver with disgust. "Ash Lee," I replied coldly as I continued my way past him. "Oh that's right, How silly of me. You're not the morning type are you?" He rhetorically asked as he ruffled my hair and came to my side wearing his usual smirk. " So what brings you here to ruin yet another one of my days Ash Lee?" I asked him monotonously without making eye contact. "Lets skip school today." He said smiling brightly as we turned the corner. "No way in hell." I said back to him as I spied Mark walking by himself from afar.

He was ruffling his hair and rubbing his eyes. The way he'd lazily put on his uniform, with his tie untied and his top buttons undone, you could tell how tired he was even by looking at him from a distance. I began to speed up to catch up to him and left behind Ash Lee who kept on going about how we should totally wag school today and so on. I was about half way there until someone came up from behind me and covered my eyes and mouth to stop me from screaming. 

Then I was dragged away. 

*Mark's P.O.V*

My alarm buzzed at 7:00am. Usually that was the tone that I hated to hear because it meant that I had to wake up, but this morning I couldn't wait for it to come. You see the problem with not being able to sleep is that the night seems to go longer. Each minute fees like 10. Each passing hour feels like an eternity. The worst part is that it has been a week since I had that dream, and still it replays in my head every night, keeping me from sleeping even a wink. It's to the point that sometimes, I'm even too afraid to close my eyes. 

I rose from my bed and turned of my alarm, making my way towards my bathroom. I turned on the cold water and splashed it onto my face, the chilling touch that would hopefully reduce my tired expression. I looked up to the mirror and immediately saw the bags that had formed under my eyes. Well, I guess that's what not sleeping for a week does to you. I threw my uniform on, quickly had some breakfast and headed out the door to school.

I took the short cut to school to see if I could catch Kim on my way there. She usually made her way to school around this time and sometimes we would walk together. Her and I had been spending a lot more time together in the past week. It seemed that being with her was the only way to get my mind off things. She was a good friend, and I felt that keeping these secrets from her wasn't the best thing to do, and if she saw me this morning she might think that something's up. 

Realising this, I took a detour down a couple of streets, exploring some new places in my new town, hoping  that I wouldn't bump into her on my way to school. I turned the corner and ruffled my hair as I looked down at my loose tie waving in the wind. I was so tired this morning that I had forgotten to tie it up. I stopped for a moment and fidgeted with it, and once I'd finally gotten it done I heard a scream that was quickly cut off from behind me. I turned around to see what it was but no one was there. weird.

I simply shrugged it off and continued to make my way to school.

*Ash Lee's P.O.V*

"We should totally skip school! It's not like we're gonna miss anything important anyways! School is such a drag! Why does school even rhyme with cool, when it is every thing but that!" I raved on for a while as Kim walked beside me, trying her best to ignore my continuously ludicrous excuses to skip school today. Her gazed averted from the path and I followed it to spot Mark walking in the distance. Immediately she sped up and left me to walk by myself. How could she leave such a good looking being like me around on my own, I could get kidnapped!

Before she could make it to Mark I covered her eyes and mouth and dragged her struggling body, running in the opposite direction from our school. I had made it pretty far until she got to hard to carry due to her struggling body. I could have sworn she licked my had at least 6 times. I put her down as she screamed at the top of her lungs, cursing even more as she realised it was me who'd captured her like that. I couldn't help but laugh at her.

Once she was done I grabbed her hand and proceeded down the street "You're all mine today Kim! Besides you owe me after dropping those two tubs of ice cream on my back. Consider this your way of making it up to me." I told he as I skipped along . I heard her sigh loudly from behind me. 

"So, Where to?"
