I saw a light coming from afar and decided to follow it, maybe it will get me out of this hell hole. It was a door.

I opened it and walked in. And let me tell you, it was the most beautiful place I've ever seen. There were flowers and waterfalls everywhere. I could live here forever, and I think I would've if it wasn't for the familiar figure standing a bit far from me smiling at me.

-----------------------------

"I SWEAR TO GOD IF HE DIES IM GOING TO KILL ALL OF YOU AND BATHE IN YOUR BLOOD!!" I screen as the forced me out of the room.

I was sitting in the room begging him to wake up like always when he suddenly flat lined. He stopped breathing and the line went flat. The doctors rushed in and started kicking me out. Now I've been fighting with them for an hour.

"Mr Horan, please calm-"

"DON'T FUCKING TELL ME TO CALM DOWN. MY LITTLE BROTHER IS DYING IN THERE, YOU PRICK." I didn't want to hear what they were saying, I just wanted Niall to be okay.

"I need him, don't you understand? He's all I have. Please don't let him die..." I said as I began to feel heavy.

"Please save him..." was the last thing I said before falling asleep.

--------------------------------

I suddenly appeared in the middle of a meadow. It was beautiful. But it wasn't like an ordinary meadow, this one looked more like a garden if anything, because there were fountains.

"Hey Greg." A voice said from behind me, a familiar voice. I turned around so fast I'm surprised I didn't get a whiplash. Niall.

"Niall, I've missed you so much. How are..." I faded as he seemed to move back (without even moving if that makes sense.) when I moved closer

"Don't come close. We can't touch each other in here. We're alone in here, we can scream as we want." He answered my unspoken question.

"How is this possible?" I asked.

"I saw Gran." He said with a smile, he always loved Gran. "She gave me a chance to speak to anyone I know and I chose you. I wanted to tell you that I chose to go back. Gran helped me make my decision." He said as he sat down and I followed his example.

"How is she?" I asked. We both loved Gran to the moon and back.

"She is alright. Younger that expected, but she is great. She said to tell you that she is sorry she can't meet with you and that she loves you."

We just sat there for a while in silence. I eventually laid down and looked up at the sky.

"You said you were coming back, when?" I asked.

"Soon. Very soon."

"I have a surprise for you when you wake up." I said with a smile. I turned to him and my smile immediately left my face. He was fading.

"I have to go, bro, but I promise, I'll be back really, really soon. I love you Greg." He said with a huge grin on his face.

"I love you too, Niall. I'll see you soon." I said with a smile and then I closed my eyes.

----------------------------------

I woke up with a groan. Damn, my body hurts. Wait, why does my body hurt. I open my eyes and bright lights assaults my eyed, I quickly closed them.

"Ahh, Greg, you're awake." A male voice said.

"Turn the lights off." I said with my eyes stii closed.

"Oh, sorry about that. You can open your eyes now." He said and I did as told. Much better.

"What happened?" I asked.

"You were freaking out after your brother flat lined so we sedated you. Are you okay, Son?" So that's what happened.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Is Niall okay?" I asked as I got out of bed.

"Better than okay actually. Let's go see him. He has been asking for you." He said as we walked down the corridor.

"He kept his promise." I smiled to myself.

"What was that?" Dr Lloyd asked.

"Nothing, I just can't wait to see my little brother."

We walked until we reached his door and I put my hand on the door handle. As I opened the door, I felt Dr Lloyd pat my back. I opened the door and smiled my first real smile (not counting the garden) in weeks.

"I promised." He simply stated with a smile.

"You promised"
