Chapter 27: Niall

I was still staring at the paper when Liam came back from getting milk and asked what was wrong. I didn't answer him so he followed my eyes and I could feel him getting angrier by the minute. I snapped out of it a minute or so later and took the paper before dragging Liam to the tills so we can pay and leave.

We walked out to the car and put the groceries in the trunk before getting in and driving home. I was fuming, I knew my parents hated me and didn't want me so why were they causing problems when I was finally out of their hair?

We got home and I was so grateful that there was an entrance through the garage. Paparazzi was waiting on our gate and I knew they would follow us when we open the gate, and my theory proved to be correct when they rushed behind the car to get to us. Liam parked in the garage and we entered the house.

I immediately went to our room to get my lap top while texting Greg to log onto Skype. I logged on and waited a few seconds before he called me. I answered and quickly spotted the worry on his face.

"We just talked now, what is so important that it couldn't wait when we both have time?" Is the first thing Greg says when he comes on, but then his face turns to one of concern when he sees me. "Why are you crying? Is it Liam? What did he do?" What? I touch my face and find it wet, so I wipe my tears away.

"No, it's not Liam, it's mom and dad." I say as Liam walks in with the newspaper under his arm and tea in both his hands. He sits down next to me and looked through the paper.

"What did they-" Greg cut himself when Liam lifted the paper and showed him the headline while still looking for the right page. "Oh for fuck's sake, can't they leave you alone?" Greg growled out. My brother can be the scariest person if he's pushed to his limits.

"Niall Horan's parents confess that they were close with both their sons until Liam came into the picture. Niall quickly found out who 'Alex' was and began to play him for his money.

"We tried to talk him out of it but he was too determined to get his trust so he can get money from him and his brother was working with him too. When Liam came here, they managed to manipulate him to take Niall with him because we are 'monsters' who don't love our own child." Mrs Horan said.

"We tried talking to Liam alone but he wouldn't even look at us and was rude to the extent of calling us names and being nasty, so we gave up and thought of another way to warn Liam and we thought what better way to tell him through the media." Mr Horan said.

When we asked how close they were with their sons they said "You couldn't fit a small piece of paper between all of us and we told each other everything. Like a few weeks ago, Niall called and said" Liam paused to swallow and then glancing at me before continuing. "Like a few weeks ago, Niall called and said Liam found out his plans and has been hitting him and he doesn't want him to leave because and spill what kind of person he is." Mrs Horan answered.

So now we wonder, who are Liam Payne and Niall Horan?"

It was silent for a while, while we allowed the story to sink in. "We need a plan fast before Liam's career goes down the drain." I said.

And we began brainstorming.

Today is Friday, three days after seeing that paper and also the first time going out because paparazzi is still flooding our home.
