Chapter 5

NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL TIME
(Still Rachel's POV)
"So Finn what's the real story?" I said
"I'll tell you at the homecoming bonfire" Finn said.
"Wait are you going? I though you said it was stupid."
"I'll tell you there gonna be late bye" and he practically ran away from me. I don't understand why he doesn't tell me what's going on. I'm trying to help him. But anyway he'll tell me today finally.

Finn's POV
"I see you cover up my marks with your brother make up. Smart of you and by the way I saw you talking to Rachel. Hope you didn't told her what happened or else..." Karofsky said
"Don't worry I didn't told her." I said
"I really hope. I mean not for me but for you"
"Okay bye" I said and walk away but he grabbed my arm and said
"You just don't walk away from me." And he punched me in the face so hard that I could feel that one of my tooth broke. And my jaw hurt. Great now I got more lies to explain to Kurt and more to tell to Rachel. And last but not least more the cover up with Kurt's makeup. It's really hard to use make up especially from Kurt since he has so much and so different I don't know how to use it.
"Bye loser" karofsky said and left the boys locker room. I just stayed there thinking about my life.

AT THE HOMECOMING BONFIRE

Rachel's POV
I've been here for 20 minutes waiting for Finn to show up. I'm so nervous I hope he likes my outfit cause I choose it for him. I'm wearing a cute black skirt with a pink shirt and a necklace that says 'Rachel'. Kurt and Santana are talking about how awesome this is but my only thoughts are about Finn. Finally I see Finn. I walk away from Kurt and Santana and stand in front of Finn. And I see he's wearing Kurt's make up its so funny because it's not his skin tone.

Finn's POV
It's 20 minute since the homecoming bonfire started and I can't choose what to wear that will impress Rachel. I already have makeup on. Hope it covers my bruises. Finally I chose to go casual. I'm wearing some jeans, a plaid shirt with a white shirt bellow.

When I arrive a the homecoming bonfire the first thing I see is the fire then suddenly I see a petite girl standing in front of me. I took me time to adjust to the light. Then Rachel says
"Finally I thought you would never arrive"
"I'm here so let's talk"
"Alright"
"What's what you wanna know?"
"Umm the first thing I wanna know is why the hell are you wearing makeup?" Rachel said laughing a little at the end.
"Well..." I said
"Are you gay?" Rachel said
"What?! No!!"
"I'm just joking relax Finn"
"Ohh well"
"So you were telling me..."
"Right I'm wearing Kurt make up because I'm covering my bruises."
"But you had only in your eye" Rachel said
"We'll let me start with the whole story so you can understand"
Rachel and I went behind the bleachers then Rachel and I sat beside each other. 
"So it all started when I just moved here. I had different interests from all the popular kids in school. I was invisible to them but when I joined glee club people specialy Sam and his friends started making fun of me. At first I didn't pay much attention, they were just verbal offenses. But then they started to push me around, and in classes they would hide my things while I would go to the bathroom."
"Oh my"
"Wait that's no the worst part. Anyway then they started slushing me and an then they would kick me. They would kick me once a week but really softly. Until you defended me they started kicking me more and harder. They even broke one of my back upper tooth. Look" and I showed Rachel my broken tooth.
"So you are wearing makeup to cover all your scars and bruises?"
"Yeah."
"Does Kurt knows?"
"No and I'm not planing on telling him."
"Why?"
"Because they told me not to tell anyone especially you" I said as I looked away.
"So then why did you told me?"
"Well I trusted you and..." Was I about to tell rachel I loved her.
"And..." Rachel said
"And I kind of have a thing for..." I said as Rachel looked at me in awe "you" I finally said looking right at her in the eyes. Ohh those hazel brown eyes. Then I looked down
Then after several seconds Rachel said "I kind of have a thing for you too"  after she said that I looked up at her again. I didn't hesitate and kissed her. At first she was in shock but then she kissed me back. We kissed for like ever. But then Rachel broke the kiss. I supposed she needed air. Then she said "Finn tell me exactly who did this to you and I could end them and especially we could go with principal Figgins so he can suspend them."
"No Rach please. I don't want anyone to know please."
"But Finn this is not right. We got to do something."
"Just please Rach don't tell anyone. Will you that for me?" I knew it was too much to ask but I had to try.

Rachel POV
After Finn said that I didn't knew what to do. I loved Finn and this wasn't right, but I just got him and I didn't wanted to lose him so I said
"Okay but just for you. And when they lend another hand on you I will go straight to Figgins."
As I said that Finn took my hand and squeezed it. And said
"I really like you" and my heart melt in that moment
"I like you too" I said
And we kissed one more time but really short because Finn broke it and said
"But what about us? I mean I like you and you like me but if those guys se me with you they would never stop teasing me and your rep would go down."
"Finn don't care about my rep because this love we have its worth the try" and he squeezed my hand even more tighter.
"Rach do you really like me that much?"
"Yes." I said
"But we've got to keep it a secret at least until we feel ready to tell everyone"
"Yeah I agree with you"
"So? What do we do now?"
"We've got tonight babe, who needs tomorrow" I said
"Let's make it last, let's find a way" Finn said.
