I woke up to people talking outside of my closed door. It sounded like my dad and Stiles.

"It happened again?" My dad asked. "Yes. But Isaac and I got her to calm down." Stiles said.

"What are we gonna do? I know she can't control it, but I get really scared for her." Dad explained.

"I'm not sure dad. I don't think there's a way to stop it. But when it does happen, we just have to find a way to get her to not think about it and just relax." Stiles explained.

"Okay, go to your room. I'll talk to her." Dad says.

I sat up and my bed as the door opened. The clock said 6:57 a.m.

"Hey dad." I smile as he sits down on my bed. "Hey sweetie." He returned the smile.

"I know what happened last night. It's a good thing that Stiles and Isaac were here to help you through it." He says.

I nodded. "Do I have to go to school today?" I ask. "No. No school for anyone for the next week." Dad informed.

"What? Why?" I asked. "There was an incident at the school. We need to get it fixed and then you guys can all go back to school." He said.

I smiled again. Happy that I didn't have to go to school and it wouldn't cause me to miss class.

"I'm going to the station. If you and Stiles are hungry, I left $40 on the table." Dad kissed my forehead.

"Okay dad. See you later." I said. Dad left the room.

I brushed my teeth and got into the shower. I was ready to start my day, even though it was super early.

My put on a New York City shirt, a pair of jean shorts, and a pair of black Dr. Martens. I put my hair in a messy bun with some flower bobby pins.

I texted Isaac "On my way to Derek's house." And then stuck my phone in my back pocket.

"Stiles, I'm leaving." I call, opening Stiles' bedroom door. He was laying down on his bed watching TV.

"Where are you going?" He asked. "To Derek's loft. I have to have a training session." I explained.

"You don't need me to drive you?" He asks. "No, I can walk there." I smiled.

"Okay, see you later. Kick some ass." He laughed. "Bye." I giggled, closing his door and walking downstairs.

As I got off the elevator to Derek's loft, it was empty. I saw a note on the table.

The note read:

Alex, since it's your first time training with us, you'll have to learn some of the basics in fighting and trying to control your abilities. Isaac and I are gonna help you with that. You might think we're not home, but we are. We're just hiding and you need to use your abilities to locate us.
-Derek

"Why can't this just be a normal training session. Most teachers don't make their students find them by "using their abilities." I say out loud.

"And Isaac's in on this too?" I read the note again. "When I find you guys, you're going down." I add.

My phone vibrated I my pocket. I got a text message from Isaac that said, "Shut up and find us."

I tried my best to use my abilities. I used my hearing to hear their heart beats.

I heard one that was really close to me. It sounded like it was coming towards me from behind.

I turned around to see Derek running towards me. I quickly grabbed his arm and pushed him on the ground, putting my foot on his stomach so that he couldn't get up.

I looked down at him and laughed. I heard another heart beat.

I looked behind me to see no one. I looked all around me. No one. Where's Isaac?

"Isaac, you're amazing at playing hide and seek." I call.

I heard a chuckle. I looked towards the spiral stairs to see Isaac standing on the railing. He jumped off, doing a backflip.

He tried to grab me. I ducked, causing him to miss and fall down. Isaac didn't give up there. He took my leg and pulled it, making me fall down.

Isaac and Derek both stood up. "You're gonna need a lot of training." Derek says.

I rolled my eyes and stood up. In one swift movement, I pushed Derek down again and put Isaac in a headlock.

"Are you sure I'm the one who needs the training?" I asked.

"You know, most girlfriends don't put their boyfriends in a headlock." Isaac said, struggling to get out.

"Well most boyfriends don't jump from a flight of stairs, trying to attack their girlfriend either." I giggle. "Nice backflip by the way."

Isaac tried to get himself out of the headlock. He got out and pushed me down.

I did the same thing he did to me, grabbed his leg as pulled him down. I didn't mean to, but I made him fall on top of me.

"Ugh! Get off of me you oaf!" I said. Isaac chuckled, not getting off of me.

"I'm sure you're the one who still needs training." He smiled.

I flipped us over so that I was on top of him. "Yeah, I still don't think so."
