Ah, the first day of Junior year. I don't know why they would start school on a Friday. I mean, I have the weekend to do whatever I wanted to do, but what school starts school on a Friday?
I expect my grades to all be an A+ Since I don't have to worry about all of the drama anymore. The Kanima is gone, I haven't seen the pack of alphas in a while and my panic attacks aren't happening as often.
I got into the jeep with Stiles and he drove off.
~~
At SchoolScott, Stiles, Lydia, Allison and I all had the same class. English.
I haven't talked to Allison much. It's because she's been in France for the summer. Or maybe it the fact that she stabbed me and shot an arrow at my stomach. Who knows?
We all took our seats. I was sitting in front of Stiles. Stiles was sitting in between Scott and Lydia. And Allison was sitting in front of Scott.
Did I mention that they broke up? They both decided that it wasn't working out and they broke up.
Just then, all of our phones started ringing.
I checked my phone to see a long text message. The teacher came into the room with her phone out, reading the words to the text message that everyone got.
"The offing was barred by the....." She kept reading.
"This is the last line to the first book that we're going to read. It is also the last text message that you will receive in my class. Phones off, everyone." The teacher smiled. I turned my phone screen off and watched the teacher.
She seemed nice. I'm thinking we can get along pretty nicely. We started writing down the notes that she wrote on the board.
The principal came in and whispered something into Ms. Blake's ear. Then he left.
"Mr. McCall and Ms. Stilinski." She called us. We packed our things up and followed her outside.
"I'm sure it's an emergency if you're both needed at the hospital. But, I'm gonna give you a warning in the nicest possible way. I am aware of your attendance record. I don't want to see you two slip back into old habits." Ms. Blake explained.
"I won't." Scott and I said at the same time. "It's going to be different this year." I say. "Resolutions are only good of you stick to them." She said.
"We will. I promise we won't be ephemeral." Scott smiled as we walked away.
"Ooh, Scott's using his big boy words." I giggle.
~~~~~~~~~~
We made our way to the hospital."Isaac should be in room 215." Melissa said after she explained everything.
I got on the elevator and pressed the 2nd floor. Scott took the stairs. Just as it was about to close, a walking stick stopped it. It was a very familiar walking stick.
The door opened and to my surprise, Deucalion walked in. "What the hell are you doing here?" I asked him. "I'm allowed to be in a hospital if that's what you mean." Deucalion answered.
"You know what I mean." I tell him. He ignores me and the elevator opens. Just then, he disappeared somewhere and I met up with Scott.
We checked the room. "It's empty." I say. Room 215 was empty. Then, Scott and I saw a man rolling someone in a wheelchair.
They got into the elevator and I saw that the guy wheeling the wheelchair had claws and the guy in the wheelchair was and uncouncious Isaac.
The elevator door was about to close but Scott and I ran as fast as we could and got into it before it closed.
We all transformed into our werewolf self and started fighting. The guy was an alpha. Maybe he's with Deucalion.
The guy slammed Scott and I against the wall several times. I was thrown upwards and the light on the ceiling of the elevator was broken.
He used both of his hands to hold Scott and I by our necks.
"Do you know who you're messing with? I'm an alpha!" The guy growled.
The elevator opened to Derek who stuck his claws into the back of the alpha guy. He let us go, throwing us against the wall.
"So am I." Derek says, throwing the guy down the hall.
"Aren't you supposed to be in school?" Derek asked us.
~~~~~~~~~~~
"Just meet us here." Scott says, talking on the phone with Stiles. We were inside of Derek's old, burned house.Derek laid Isaac on the table. "You should go home. Go back to being teenagers." Derek told us.
"But you can help me." Scott says. "And me too." I said. Scott and I both wanted to get tattoos. About 2 days ago, we went to the parlor and got the tattoos, but they healed.
~
"Your dad said yes about the tattoo, right?" Derek asked me."Sure, you could say that." I slightly smiled.
FlashBack
"A tattoo? Are you kidding me? You're 16!""Dad, it's not that big of a deal. And I'm turning 17 next week." I protested. "Not that big of a- That'll be on your skin forever!" He yelled.
"It's going to be on my arm, I can cover it with my sleeve. Plus, there are places where you can go to get a tattoo removed." I explained.
"But do you know how much that would cost?! You're not getting a tattoo!" He yells.
End of FlashBack
"He definitely said yes." I smiled.
"You want the triskelion, right?" Derek asked me, ready to give me the tattoo I wanted. I nodded. Scott had already gotten his tattoo.
"I want the same exact one that you have." I smile at him. "Why?" Derek asked. "Because I like it. It reminds me that something can fall to another thing. Like, Alphas can fall to betas, or wives can fall to widows. An A grade can fall to a C grade. Love can fall to hate." I explained. "Plus it's really pretty."
"The pain is gonna be worse than anything you've ever felt." Derek warned me.
"Oh. That's great." Stiles mumbled. "Just do it." I tell him. (Omg Shia Labeouf af)
Derek lit up a blow torch. "Oh. Wow, that's a lot for me. Well, I'm gonna take that as my cue. I'm gonna wait outside." Stiles says, about to leave Derek stopped him.
"You and Scott are gonna help hold her down." He said. Stiles and Scott held one each of my shoulders and I felt the fire burn my skin.
It hurt like hell. My fangs came out and I could feel my eyes turning yellow.
"Hold her tighter!" Derek yelled. I closed my eyes, the pain wasn't going away anytime soon.
What a great first day of school! (Note the sarcasm)
