Chap.2

ITSSSSSSSSSSS FEIS DAY!!!!! I'm so excited! This is my ultimate favorite feis cause it's on our birthday every year and we go to it every year too! It's also in a convention center so it's not crappy!!!

Anyways, we make our way to the ballroom that our competition is in which is B, and start to warm up. Just then, Elaine stops by.

"Happy Birthday girls! You warming up?" She says.

"Yep! And thanks!" I say.

Just then Shannon runs over and gives us huge hugs!

"Happy Birthday!!!!!! I'm so excited for your party tonight!" She says.

Yep! That's right! Slumber party!

But then Lauren walks over. I haven't seen her since oireachtas.

"Oh hey! So like, I can't make your party tonight cause I have better plans with my friend Ellie I met at oireachtas! But enjoy your stupid party!" She said.

I felt like I was going to cry. I looked around for backup, but all the adults had left to get sick glue and things, so that's why she saw an opportunity. But I couldn't handle it anymore. There wasn't anyone but is and my friends, so,

"I don't care!!!! Why are you so mean? We used to be the best of friends and now you can't even look at me without mocking me! What did I do?!? Nothing!" I scream. I had had it.

"Oh come on! I'm so much better than you and everyone else in here! I deserved to win oireachtas instead of 6th! And I should have won the feis!" She screamed.

"So that's why your me mad at me?" I say, calming down. But, before I could say, or she could, say anything else, the adults walked in and Lauren walked back to her seat.

"Everything ok?" Said mom when she got back. I guess she saw the tears.

"Um yeah, I'm fine." I say.

Just then I see my best friend I met at oireachtas!!!

"Ellia!!!" I scream. I've seen her at other competitions to.

"Emma! Happy birthday!" She said.

She remembered! I had told her at oireachtas and she was also coming to my party! I was happy again!

But before I could respond, the announcer said we had to check in.

I'm number 504 and 5 in the rotation, and Roisin is number 104 and 7 in the rotation. Today we don't have very many kids in our comp though, only 14. But that's ok!!! I'll just try my best!

"We will begin to line up competition 309 boys and girls open championship under 10. If everyone could please begin to make there way to side stage." They announcer said, and with that, we went to line up.
