Chap.14

I go downstairs to unload and take my awards to their places. Then I go back upstairs.

Roisin is eating as usual cause literally whenever she gets home from anywhere she'll eat. Anything.

"Roisin stop eating so much! I'm making lunch right now and we'll all eat together." Mom said. She's been stressed lately I'm really confused.

Once lunch is ready mom tells us to come down. Well this should be entertaining!

"Alright girls! Time for lunch!" We all trample each other-even Roisin! But she literally just ate!

"Well girls, the reason I had you come down here to eat lunch all together like this is because I have some um.....news." That pause in between made it seem not so good.

We all wait anxiously for a moment-even mom.

"So I was talking with Lauren's mom yesterday and it turns out Lauren has made her final decision. She will be moving dance schools." Mom had just dropped one of the word bomb things that you like hear but aren't supposed to say, and then it just drops out.

"Why?" I say, just trying to break a little bit of ice.

"I don't know, really. I guess something about not really fitting in here or something. Not really sure."

"What about Katie???" Says Shayla, worry adding in her face. On Thursdays, Shayla still goes to the little kid's class for like, open girls and Katie helps out there so now Shayla thinks she's like her new bff.

"She's staying here, don't worry. When I talked to her mom she said that she didn't want to transfer so she won't."

Shayla breathed a sigh of relief but I was still thinking. I haven't even touched my soba noodles yet. I look over at Roisin and she looks alright-better than me I guess.

"Where is she moving?" I didn't really expect Roisin to say anything, so I did again.

"Uh I think that South Na Cara place. But that's none of your business, girls. I only wanted to tell you guys this so you'd understand. Not so you'd ask a bizzilion questions that are none of your business!" Mom seemed a little heated up but I couldn't help it anymore.

"Then why were you on the phone with that dance school?!?" I had to say it.
"What?!? You guys shouldn't know about that! And I was only talking because.....because.....uh...."
