Katniss's POV

All the tributes must be reaped from the existing pool of victors. Too coincidental to be a coincident. President Snow wants me dead, and this is the way to do it and make it seem like an accident. I walk towards the entrance for the tribute parade and make my way towards the District 12 horse. I sighed.

"How'd we get here huh?" I asked the horse, expecting no response. "Katniss!" A voice called out, and for a quick second I thought the horse did respond, but at last it was just the infamous District 4 victor. Finnick Odair. "Hello Finnick" I nodded towards him, trying to seem polite even though I wanted so badly to roll my eyes at him. "Do you want a sugar cube?" He asked in his ever-so seductive voice that made Capitol girls go crazy. "They're supposed to be for the horses" He continued, "But they have years to live, where as you and I, well we don't" He smirked as he tossed one into his mouth.

"No thanks, but I'd love to borrow your outfit sometime" I smirked back at him, whilst continuing to stroke the horses' mane. He chuckled quietly to himself, as if enjoying the fact that I started playing along with him. "You look pretty terrifying in that getup" He commented, but continued, "What happened to the little girl dresses?" He asked, raising one eyebrow up. "I outgrew them" I said harshly, tired of him irritating me. "You certainly did" He seductively whispered, looking at me up and down. I rolled my eyes at him, when he continued to talk. "You could have made out like a bandit in the Capitol, anything you wanted, you would have gotten, jewels, money, anything" He told me after a few minutes of me ignoring him. "Well I don't like jewels and I have more money than I need so.." I trailed off, trying to keep my eyes off his almost naked body. "What did you do with all your money anyways?" I questioned, curious to know what Finnick Odair spends money on. "Oh, I haven't dealt with anything as common as money in years" He replied, popping another sugar cube in his mouth. "Then how do people pay for the pleasure of your company?" I scoffed, angry at him for no reason at all.

He smiled seductively, stepping closer to me until our noses brushed each other. "With secrets" He whispered, his breath wafting around the area. "What about you Girl on Fire? Got any secrets worth my time?" He smirked, his sea green eyes boring into my grey ones. I wanted to scream at him, slap him, and push him away but I couldn't. Something about him being so close made my heart beat faster, and he knew that. He enjoyed watching me become nervous because of him. I cleared my throat, and looked down at the ground backing up.

"Guess not" He said in a regular voice before I spotted Peeta and Cinna coming towards the chariot. He looked back at them too, and then back at me. "Have a good day Fire Girl" He smiled and started to walk away, waving to Peeta before he disappeared into the crowd of victors. Peeta give me a questioning glance which I ignored because I didn't exactly know what to tell him.

All I know is that Finnick Odair just left me speechless like a crazy Capitol woman.
