Chapter 13- Spin the Bottle

Lucy's POV:

What a refreshing race... Although my butt still hurts a bit from the hot seats(thanks Natsu!)

I admired my red fourth place medal. Even though its not the best place, it still looks nice. And matches my outfit!

Anyway, Mira called us in for lunch. Wonder how come she did... She usually just ignores us until we come up to ask for food. Is she planning something??

As I made my way into the living room, I found out that everyone was already there. My eyes met Natsu's, and he grinned hugely.

My eyes immediately looked away. Does he not feel awkward at all since yesterday?? Well, we DID work together today, but still.

I grabbed a plate with chicken, salad, and a few pieces of peach off the counter. I saw Levy sitting in a lone couch so I walked over and plopped down.

"Admiring your last place medal?" I joked.

"Lu-chan!" She playfully punched me on the arm. She laughed, and I noticed Gajeel looking at her across the room.

"Someones checking ya out!" I smirked and jutted my chin toward him without him noticing.

"Lu-chan! Seriously? Do I look okay though? Any food in my teeth?" She whispered worriedly. She straightened her orange bandana and brushed off invisible lint off her sundress.

"Of course, Levy-chan. And ha, see? Your trying to impress him!" I laughed, causing her to blush.

"Of course Im not! I just want to make sure my dress and hairband isnt messy!" Levy-chan shot back, blushing harder. "Besides, looks who's talking. Your darling is eyeing you across the room," she hissed.

I slooowly turned my head toward where she was facing and there he was, really looking at me! When he saw that Im looking at him, he smiled the sweetest that made my heart flip.

He walked over to me and I gave a slight gasp. What is WRONG with me? Stop acting like this, Lucy! You sound ridiculous!

"Hey, Luce," he says, sitting in a couch across from me. He was, too, holding a huge plate overfull from food.

"Hi." I tried to act nonchalant as if nothing is going on. He didn't give me a weird look or say anything, so hopefully I pulled it off.

Natsu was trying to say something when Mira announced," GUYS! COME HERE TO THE FIREPLACE! We,"she grinned evilly," will play Spin the Bottle, and EVERYONE will be participating. Trust me, you will."

I got goosebumps and hurried over to her circle of pillows. And a beer bottle?

I felt Natsu flop down to my right and and Levy on my right. Im pretty sure this game is for Mira to make her OTP's real. Including Natsu and I.

"Okay, mina. Ill spin first. Whoever it lands on I will tell them to do something." Mira spins, and it lands on Gray.

"Oh shit," he groans and face palms.

"Do seven minutes of heaven." She smirks.

Juvia gasps and claps a hand to her mouth. She looks pale, but Im not sure if shes excited if its her or nervous its not her.

"With who," Gray narrows his eyes.

"Of course Juvia, silly!" She laughs and pushes the two into the room. Hopefully Juvia won't be all that 'love rival'y to me anymore... Shes getting what she wants.

The door slams closed and Mira locks it. "You two better do what I told you to do, or you'll know whats gonna happen!"

All I hear is Juvia shriek before it becomes muffled and its quiet.

Thank you guys so much for putting up for me not updating for ALMOST the entire summer since June! I started updating 2 weeks ago and I will keep doing that. Keep reading and having fun! :)
