Daren's POV
I watched as Kiera walked into her house. As I was getting ready to leave, I heard her say, "Damn I want him." A smile played on my face. She wants me, she fucking wants me. YES!!! So she feels it too. I know she probably doesn't understand why she's feeling that way, but I'm gonna tell her soon. And hopefully she wont freak out. Who the hell am I kidding of course she's gonna freak out. But if she feels the same way I do and as strong as I do, then she'll understand......I hope.
BEEP.......BEEP.........BEEP "Ugh, shut the fuck up." I say to myself. I turn to my side and turn off the alarm clock. I really don't wanna go to school today, but I'm not gonna give up the opportunity to see my beautiful mate. I've only met her three days ago, and yet, I find myself changing already. I go to school everyday now so I can see her, and I go to all my classes. I'm so whipped, and I'm not even dating her yet.
I get up and put on a pair of light jeans, a green V-neck shirt and my black boots. I grab my book bag and leather jacket and walk out the door. I get on my motorcycle and head to school. When I get there I park in the student parking lot and go to the front of the school. I stand towards the end of the main building and wait for her. About 5 minutes later I see her get out of a white Honda. I watch her as she grabs her things and shuts the door. I make a whistling noise and she turns her head and looks at me. I nod my head telling her to come over here. She hold her index finger up telling me to give her a minute. She walks over to her friends. "Hey guys, um, I'm gonna go ahead and go to class. Tell Sam I'm already there." I heard her tell them. At her mentioning another guys name I tensed up. Who the hell is this Sam guy? She starts to walk over her and when I look into her eyes and see her smile, I instantly calm down. "Hey." she says. "Hey." "Um, why did you want me to come over here?" "I wanted to walk you to your first class." I see her start to blush and I smile to myself. "O-oh, ok." she says, stuttering, showing she's nervous. I start walking her to her first block class, which is also my first block class, but she doesn't know that yet.
When we get there, I follow her into the band building. "What are you doing? Your gonna be late for class." she says in a worried tone. "No I'm not. This is my first class." I say with a smirk on my face. She gives me a look of confusion. "Then how come I've never seen you in here before?" she asks. "Because I sit in the very back of the class room." She gives me a look of uncertainty but gives in a few seconds later. I grad 2 chairs from the other side of the room and put them down in front of us. "You want to sit with me....friend?" She blushes, remembering that she is my only friend at this school. I see happiness in her eyes as she smiles and sits down. We're early to class so we just sit in our seats.......in silence. I keep stealing glances at her and out of the corner of my eye, I can see she's doing the same to me. About 5 minutes later, I hear her sigh. "What's wrong?" I ask her, not liking to see her sad or upset. "Sam's not gonna be here today." she says. I tense at the sound of her saying his name again. What the hell? I don't even know this guy and I already want to kill him because my mate is thinking about him. "How do you know?" I ask. "Because she texted me and said she was sick and that she couldn't come today." I relax when I hear her say that. So Sam's a girl? OH THANKGOD! " But it's ok. I get to sit with you today which is cool." she says. As soon as she says it, a blush makes its way upon her cheek. She does that a lot, but she's looks real adorable when she does that. I chuckle. "Your cute when you blush." I whisper in her ear. Her face gets tomato red. "T-t-thank you." she stifles out.
Mrs. Hays walks into the class room and tells us to pull out our Adele mash up book so we can practice that. I sit back in my chair and watch as Kiera pulls out hers. She looks at me expectantly, like I'm going to pull mine out. After a few seconds of staring at me, she realizes I don't have one and turns around in her seat to start practicing. "Alright, sopranos, sing your part." Mrs. Hays says. She starts playing the piano and the sopranos start singing.....including Kiera. WOW! She can fucking sing! She hits every note perfectly. Her voice is the most amazing thing I've ever heard. I stare at her in aw. She looks at me from the corner of her eye and sees me staring at her. She smiles but continues singing. This girl is amazing.
Once first block is over, I walk her to her 2nd class. "You have an amazing voice Kiera." "Um, thanks. But I'm not that good. There are plenty of people in that class that are way better than me." "Not me." I see a smile appear on her face. I feel a since of pride, knowing I'm the one that caused her to smile. We walk the rest of the way in silence until we reach her class. "See you in English." I tell her. "Yeah." she smiles and waves by as she enters her class. I head to my class with a smile on m face.
When it's time for lunch, I wait outside the cafeteria until I see her. She smiles and walks over to me. I open the door for her and we go inside. "Damn I want that ice cream." I hear her say in her mind as we're paying for our food. She tells the lady her lunch number and walks outside without getting the ice cream. I pick it up and put it on my tray. I pay for my lunch then walk after her. She walks by her friends and tells them that she'll see them in gym and continues walking to the table we sat at yesterday. She sits her tray down and sits down in front of it. I do the same, sitting in front of her. I pick up the ice cream that was on my tray and put it on hers. "What's this?" she asks. "What does it look like?" I ask her. She giggles and shakes her head. "You didn't have to get this for me." "It's no problem." "Well, thank you." "Your welcome." "So, have you worked on the project any since Wednesday?" she asks me. "No, I don't want to work on it unless your with me so you can help me with the grammatical errors and shit like that." I say. "I haven't worked on it either." she says. "Why not?" "Because I have a shit load of homework every night." "Oh, that sucks." "Yeah, but I guess that's what I get for being in ISP." she says with a sigh.
When lunch is finished, we walk to English together and I sit down beside her. She pulls out a book and starts to read it. "What are you reading?" I ask her. "And The Waters Turned to Blood." she says. "Is it good?" "It's better than the first book I had to read." "What do you mean?" "I have to read one book that has to do with science each semester and do a book report on it for biology." "Oh. " "Yeah, it bites." "I bet." She spends the rest of the class reading and I just stare at her. I take this time to study her. Her beautiful blue eyes that change color depending on the lighting. Her long strawberry blonde hair that flows around her perfectly. The way her mouth is naturally in a small smile all the time. The small freckles on her nose and cheeks that you have to look kinda hard to see. Her full and shapely pink lips. She's perfect.
When the bell rings we go to gym. We get changed then go back to the gym. We play mat ball the rest of the class. When class is over, we go back and change. When she comes out of the locker room, she heads over to me and we walk out to my motorcycle together. "Ugh, I really don't wanna get on that thing again." I hear her say in her head. I laugh and she looks at me confused. I just smile and pat the seat behind me telling her to get on. She huffs but gets on the bike. She loops her arms around my waist and tightens them as I drive off.
